WIP - East Mediterranean Front theater (EMF) theater

Hello guys,

First of all, on behalf of the emf developing group, I would like to thank and congratulate the BMS team for the outstanding job!

A few words about emf theater. The East Mediterranean Front project started as possibly the most ambitious Falcon 4.0 Theater project even undertaken by the international Falcon 4.0 Community. The theater’s terrain has been divided in four primary release segments. More specifically the plaito includes the areas surrounding the Aegean, Black and Adriatic seas, parts of the Middles East and North Africa. Currently, the first release includes high detail elevation terrain projection of Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Italy. Since its inception, the emf project has been focusing on delivering the best possible levels of accuracy and realism and it is only limited by the limitation parameters of Falcon 4.0+BMS and the absolute use of non-classified information.

The project is still in progress, and closed Beta Installer is only available to developers and testers.

Took a quick look, found some cool pics. Unfortunately minority of the forum is in English and I do not speek Greek (what a surprise, right? :D). Anyway, what stage guys you are in? I see this has been going on since 2007.

Currently, the project is in progress. Many things still to be done. So, there is no release date yet!

At the moment, we are working for the “Release 1” region of the map posted here. For this region we have included 44 custom airbases and a variety of other custom objectives such as populated places, radar sites, airstrips etc. As far as vehicles are concerned, we did our best to include mainly F-16s, F-4s and support a/c used by the countries included in this area, as well as ground units and air defenses.
