Aircrew Interview
-
A channel called Air Crew Interview do interviews with current and old RAF aircrew. Interesting to watch. Here is Roger Cruickshank discussing the Typhoon among other things.
I would recommend the other interviews as well. I have yet to find a bad one

They are all good (so far). It is great to get the flying stories + some of the Real Life aspects. Taking 4 years to train, going out on QRA at 3am, being posted randomly dependent on whatever the air force feels at the time!

Particularly enjoyed this one
.Mainly because most people who like fast jets have heard about the story when the Buccaneer went to Red Flag and defeated the Red Air because they flew so low. To hear the story first hand is pretty cool. My favourite bit is when he says that during Red Flag they realised they were leaving dust trails so they went UP to 20 feet above the ground on ingress.
In Falcon I get twitchy at anything 10x that!

An interview with Dim Jones
an RAF pilot that flew F-16. Interesting as he is talking about flying the Block 5 - sounds very basic to us Block 50/52 types but clearly revolutionary compared to what he had flown before.Note Dim flew Hunters, Lightening, Phantom, F-16 and Jaguar. Pretty good mix I would say.
