Windows Device Console (devcon.exe) - a handy helper

I’m posting this as I did not get any matches when searching the forum for “devcon” and maybe someone finds this information helpful.
I do not only play Falcon BMS but also “ordinary” pc games. And many of them don’t work properly if there is more than one game controller (gamepad) connected.
Also BMS might have troubles when finding any new devices plugged in after the last session (see various threads regarding device sorting…)
So I’m using devcon.exe to turn on/off all my devices at once.
I’m using TM Warthog Throttle & Stick, Logitech Pedals and vJoy (turning the pedals into rudder), which means 4 devices (more to come hopefully soon).
Running a little .bat file I’m starting all 4 devices at once:
devcon enable "HID\VID_044F&PID_0402&REV_0100" devcon enable "HID\VID_044F&PID_0404&REV_0100" devcon enable "HID\VID_1DD2&PID_100C&REV_0103" devcon enable "root\VID_1234&PID_BEAD&REV_0216"
After quitting BMS I’m running a little .bat file that stops all 4 devices at once:
devcon disable "HID\VID_044F&PID_0402&REV_0100" devcon disable "HID\VID_044F&PID_0404&REV_0100" devcon disable "HID\VID_1DD2&PID_100C&REV_0103" devcon disable "root\VID_1234&PID_BEAD&REV_0216"
Also devcon comes very handy when looking for hardware IDs of USB devices and driver (registry) keys.
This is definitely no valuable information for the guys building home pits but maybe for noobs like me…
