@airtex2019 I seem to have fixed it with your help.
The user permissions weren’t set up correctly for some reason. I applied a few changes and now it launches.
Thanks

@airtex2019 thank you for your reply.
When I run the commands:
D:>attrib “\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Terrdata\TheaterDefinition\theater.lst”
A D:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Terrdata\TheaterDefinition\Theater.lst
D:>icacls “\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Terrdata\TheaterDefinition\theater.lst”

Interesting is that “NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users:(I)(M)” is missing.
Hello.
I uninstalled then re-installed 4.37 to move it to a new NVMe drive. I copied off the auto keyfile and the pilot files then put them back after updating to 4.37.3. When launching I get this error:

I can access the file in question when looking at the files so I don’t know what is preventing access.
@airtex2019 I was not aware of these. Thank you, I will check them out.
@airtex2019 thank you for reply.
The move smoothly although there seems to be a light detent in the middle of travel. It sorts of arrests the movement but not stop it. There is no click or button push. The joystick settings in Windows recognises them but they are not seen by the BMS configurator. Windows sees them as sliders, a bit like the throttle.
Hi All,
I have a Raptor Mach 1 joystick. I absolutely love it. I have managed to map how I want except for one thing. There are two wheels on the throttle, one large on at the top and a small one on the side. I would like to use these as the radar elevation and the zoom wheel. However I can’t get the key editor in BMS to see them when I turn them. Any ideas or does anyone have experience setting this up?
Thanks
I will give this a go tonight, but it sounds like the ticket. Incidentally, this isn’t the only thing being affected. It may be something to do with the useless features that MS added like 3D dinosaurs in your Instagram feeds that were designed for tablets and phones (like anyone has one) that are cocking up desktop apps and games.
Thanks to another forum user the problem was solved by deleting a dx9 file. This worked a treat but now this doesn’t work and the program launches using the same crappy 1024x768 resolution. It just will not accept anything else.
I can’t find this issue with anyone else. Is it a case of re-installing?
Thank you for your help. That worked.
I recently had to replace a graphics card that broke. Since then the program won’t use the settings that I enter into the settings menu of 1920x1080 - it just stays at 1024x768. Do I have to re-install or is there a way of fixing this?
Also, is there a way of getting it to launch into 1920x1080 so that it doesn’t switch between 1024x768 and the settings I choose? It feels like this is an oversight.
Thanking the community in advance.
