It turns out that re-installing in safe mode done the trick. I still have to play in windowed mode however the window changes to my native monitor resolution now. I managed a quick hour flight last night getting re-antiquated with the F-16 start up process, navigation and landing and it was running pretty solid.

Crashing before getting into 3D world. Can only "Play" in window mode
Last night I installed a fresh copy of Falcon 4.0 and BMS 4.33.1. After starting up I got into the menus and configured my control settings. Everything seems to work up until I try to spawn into the 3D world. The game crashes and I can’t proceed. After some goggling I found that I can get into game using Window mode. the problem with this however is it’s a small display window and isn’t ideal.
I know there is a known problem on Windows 10 however has anyone else found a way to fix this? I’m really hoping to get up and flying soon!
Thanks!

RE: BMS 4.33 Crash Upon Entering Mission
I can get as far as the mission brief screen. I can change my settings and everything else, I just can’t get into flying part.
I honestly think I may need to re-download but that’s a bit of a problem at the moment isn’t it =(

BMS 4.33 Crash Upon Entering Mission
Hey guys,
I ran a fresh install of BMS 4.33 today however whenever I attempt to launch a Tactical Engagement the game crashes. I get as far as selecting to take off from ramp, the time goes down to 19:59 then the game crashes. Is anyone else having this issue.
I’m running Windows 10 with an Nvidia GeForce GTX765M. The install I have used to work on Windows 8 however since going to Windows 10 I’m now having issues. I’ve tried running as Admin and in compatibility mode however I’m still not getting any luck. Any ideas?
