RE: winwing throttle: problem with Z axis handle R
@foxster I found the solution to my problem and I am reporting it for anyone who has the same problem as me. I apologize as of now because I am using a translator. I thank Foxster for helping me out, but in my case the solution was something else, ok go! Basically, I disassembled the Z-axis control and noticed that a small round neodymium magnet had detached itself from its normal seat which is the special housing attached to the inside base of the knob. With some difficulty I detached this little magnetic pill from the metal part to which it had attached and repositioned it inside the above location (I had to use double-sided tape but I think I will do the operation again using hot glue). After resealing the part with the two small screws all I did was recalibrate using SimAppPro… and … voila… the Z axis came back to life perfectly!

RE: winwing throttle: problem with Z axis handle R
@foxster it’s exactly the Z-axis of the F15EX right throttle handle that doesn’t work! I’ll send you a drawing of the non-working part on discord. Thanks in advance for your help. bye

RE: winwing throttle: problem with Z axis handle R
@foxster I am grateful for your reply already for the fact that I was able to contact you again. Thank you very much. Unfortunately I have already done all the tests with the SimAppPro software and I have tried to recalibrate that damned axis several times. If you want or have time I will send you some screenshots or some short videos of what I have already tried. But I absolutely do not want to bother you. I was already happy to read you once again. Bye.

winwing throttle: problem with Z axis handle R
I am writing in the hope that someone can help me with the problem I am having with the Z axis of the right handle of the Orion 2 throttle. Basically, Windows does not recognize the axis or in any case, moving the lever does not happen anything. Can someone help me? Thanks.

RE: SAITEK X65F & BMS
@Snake122 thank you for participating in the discussion. May I ask your opinion about my problem? That is, some throttle keys (t1 etc) that seem not to work and the forces that cannot be set from the test panel. What is the procedure for installing the hotas on a pc with win11 OS? what drivers? Thank you.

RE: SAITEK X65F & BMS
@oakdesign So can you confirm that in the test panel you get the lights on the T1 buttons, etc.? And in the force test panel you can change the forces? If so then it must be a problem created by windows 11. If you can let me know your test results on your laptop I would appreciate it, and I hope someone can help me solve these problems. Too bad about these little problems because it is equally worth having. @Virus It is really rare to find any x65f for sale and clearly you can only find it on sites where they sell used like Subito.it or ebay. I had been looking for it for years. it was a stroke of luck. In fact I who have used so many hotas, from the X52, X52 pro, X56 by Saitek and Cougar, Warthog by Thrustmaster (which I just resold immediately after buying the X65F!) can say that it is definitely the most “professional” and “realistic” experience I have had using a hotas. I confirm the best peripheral considering cost/value. I hope it can be compatible with windows for a long time to come. Then I think I will go for a true Orion2 from Winwing. Anyway @Virus …WOW congratulations on your hardware configuration for aerial sim!!

RE: SAITEK X65F & BMS
How nice to have such a quick response really appreciate it. I also have the same drivers and so I would like to know if on this test page your keys work (they light up). Grazie.

RE: SAITEK X65F & BMS
@oakdesign thank you would really appreciate it. Anyway can you tell me what drivers are you using? I’ll repeat my two main problems: the windows control panel in the “test panel” screen doesn’t recognize (lights off) the T1,T2,T3,T4, SAVE keys and also the F1,F2,F3,F4 keys don’t light up. All these keys seem not to work. While in the “Force” screen even setting different degrees of force in kgf the force sensor does not acquire the changes. Basically the stick responds the same way whether you set it to 10 kgf or 0 kgf. Thank you for any help you can give me. Excuse my English.

SAITEK X65F & BMS
I bought an old, but honorable hotas saitek x65-F, and I would like to have some help from someone who uses it to set it up properly on a computer with a windows 11 operating system. First of all I apologize for my English that I don’t know so I will use google translator, and secondly I will tell you what I have already tried to do.
- I downloaded and installed the latest useful drivers compatible with windows 11 which are:
- Saitek_X65F_Flight_Controller_7_0_53_6_x64_Drivers
- I downloaded and installed the Saitek_X65F_Flight_Controller_7_0_53_6_x64_Software program
- In the falcon bms launcher I assigned the rudder axis (I have saitek pedals) to the radar cursor
- I used sst programming to eliminate the minimouse function.
So far I have described everything that works. The problems start here:
- the various settings of the force sensor cannot be changed from the test page of the control panel but fortunately the forces can be changed using the programming software.
- in the control panel some hotas keys are not detected in the various test pages: T1,T2,T3,T4, SAFE and also the force sensor keys F1,F2,F3,F4
In some forums it was said to use older drivers such as the Saitek_X65F_Flight_Controller_7_0_41_10_x64_Drivers. In this regard I can say that the drivers are really difficult to find both on the old Saitek sites and on MadCatz or Logitech. However, after finding some I tried to uninstall the new ones and install the old ones but at the end of the procedure on my PC I always find only the newest drivers (7_0_53_6_x64)!! Can anyone give me a solution to all these problems? Thank you in advance.
