Solved hotas x, is it possible to add three modifiers for hat
-
I want to create keymap like this photo.
Is it possible
I haven’t bought joy yet because I don’t know if it’s possible. It is important for me to have 3-5 hats from one. -
@kolmipilot You need for example Joystick Gremlin (wich comes with vjoy) to set that up. Both Gemlin and vjoy are free

@oakdesign thanks, i will buy, and try it

If you haven’t bought yet, I’d recommend saving up a bit more for something with more buttons. A used saitek X-52 or CH fighterstick can be snagged on ebay for pretty cheap. The Thrustmaster FCS is also a pretty good hotas for a decent price! I started out on a hotas X and while it works, its really not that great of a stick, you’ll find yourself wanting to upgrade pretty quickly

Using the new gamepad d-pad shift layers you can get something close to this…
See https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/26244/layout-template-for-logitech-extreme-3d-pro for an example.
I also made https://gist.github.com/arithex/5f881e2dffd1f6d00f44b3e14fb39a78 for Thrustmaster T.16000M which is a similar layout, but I didn’t make a layout for Hotas X yet.

@kolmipilot You can do a lot of this with FoxVox (I used the same stick) and also get voice control with it for free. You can also extend the buttons with double clicks, triple clicks, etc.
