RE: Pics of your flight setup / home cockpit
Here is the work of one of the pilots of our wing, SKYHUNTER, in a very creative way with PVC water pipes and an electric iron he gave it shape including basic knowledge of electronics along with some buttons and arduinos sent by our great friends from many parts of the world.
Our community and our pilots are the example that there are no limits to flying the best and most majestic domestic combat simulator today and since 1998.

FALCON BMS FOREVER -
RE: 4.37 Screenshots
Attacking an SA-2 site with the boys, flying low, I was hit by an SA-14, I quickly cut off the fuel and launched the external loads, extended the gear in emergency and landed where I could without the front gear. -
RE: I love the BMS flight model
@frapes45
After an analysis of all his lines and posts, I find no other reason to think that it is some kind of trolling or attempt to anger some colleagues here and when I say colleague I mean the same people responsible for what we have today. As the. best domestic military aviation simulator, I only see time and again an attempt on your part to get a somewhat exalted response from some developers who already have decades of experience in personnel management like you, but seeing the refusal from you part and the continuous discredit of those who have expressed themselves in mathematics about our simulator as something as complicated as the FCLS, then I have no other alternative as another user and pilot of this wonderful community to give you a unique and precious DISLIKE, of which I have in the drawer of contempt.
If you think you can make a better FCLS than the current one, we invite you to develop it. I really want to see it and criticize it with my axes.Health and luck

It is normal that you can’t engage AP with flcs caution
You must clear the caution first
And yes this is normal that AP disengages with a caution fault when your aoa is above 15deg
thanks MAV it is exactly as you say.
I broke my golden rule of looking in the manual first and then asking, I think I introduced some noise into the system with this, but we found the post-combustion drop when trying to connect the AP.
greetings.

No problems from my end
Is it normal for FLCS to fail when the stick is pulled?
Is you flight model realism set to accurate ?
yes, correct, flight model in ACCURATE, always
Does the same thing happen when you click onto the AP switch with you mouse ?
The same thing happens with the A key trying and with the mouse.
Leave the afterburner at maximum for about 20 seconds allowing the aircraft to accelerate to +450knots and then touch the A key or click AP switch several times and watch the nozzle position indicator as it tries to drop to zero each time the autopilot tries to engage. -

When the afterburner is on and the FCS fails and I try to connect the AP, the aircraft decelerates, which is seen in the head camera as the pilot moves facing the ICP.
I see no such action
Watch the video when I zoom in on the nozzle position indicator, see how it instantly decreases and recovers, that happens all the time while I intermittently press the A key trying to connect the AP.
Then I try it again with a distant view and since the afterburner is cut off instantly, the pilot goes forward when the afterburner is cut off and backwards when it resumes.

RE: Can't engage Autopilot
There is a video, it is completely HIDDEN, only we here can see it.
First step, connect the AP, pull hard, FCS FAULT lights on in the PFL, reset the FCS and the AP can be connected.
When the afterburner is on and the FCS fails and I try to connect the AP, the aircraft decelerates, which is seen in the head camera as the pilot moves facing the ICP.
FCS FAULT is triggered below 500 knots

I wonder if it is a keyboard issue?
I flew the AAR TE, engaged, AP, then pulled into vertical. No FLCS issues or faults in the PFL.It has to be something related to keyboard controls.
I realized that no one reported it and MAV’s reaction saying you are talking crazy.so that has to be the stick with the keyboard.
As soon as I get home I’ll try it again, but if it happens, it happens.

RE: Can't engage Autopilot
MAV is simple.
IN FLIGHT
CONNECT THE AP (ATTITUDE HOLD OR ALTITUDE HOLD)
PULL THE STICKresult
THE AP IS DISCONNECTED
FCS FAULT ALARM GOES ON IN THE PFL
THE AP DOES NOT CONNECT UNTIL FCS IS RESET -

I’ve tested this on the Navigation TE, Landing TE, and both F-16 packages in the AAR TE. I can flip the ROLL toggle switch fine, but I can’t move the PITCH toggle, or if I can, it’ll come up with a FLCS fail.
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong and that’s why the PITCH won’t engage or if I have a switch set up wrong in my physical cockpit that is messing with the AP so much that the PITCH won’t engage. Please let me know what I’m missing here?
Thanks!
In this U4 version, the autopilot logic is triggered if, while it is connected, the stick is pulled above a certain force that exceeds the joint command threshold.
Wait what ??? What are you talking about ??
There should be no change in the AP logic in U4 and should there be a change that is a bug then
Could you precise how you trigger the bug you describe ?
When I connect the AP in any vertical mode, aptitude or altitude hold and pull, the stick disconnects from the AP and the FCS failure alarm goes off and if the FCS is not reset it cannot be reconnected.
I don’t know if this happens with a joystick but I fly with the keyboard.
As soon as I get home I’ll post a photo and more examples.
Are you talking about F15 or F16 because I’m lost here
The AP disconnects when reached max bank angle or pitch. it’s been like this since day 1 of real FLCS modeling
F-16
I know that it is disconnected by pulling the stick and other flight regimes.
What I mean is that it is in the U4 is that apart from the fact that it disconnects when I pull the stick, it causes an FCS error in the PFL and the AP cannot be connected until it is reset in the FCS
