TE mission starts in air
Hi all
I am building a simple training mission for the Kotar range and it seems that when I made the TE and added a flight, I set the Start At to TakeOff but when I try the TE and change the loadout, it says In Flight and and I can’t change the loadout.
Can I somehow check to see if the TE is setup properly to start at Takeoff? Not sure why it’s starting in the air.

Editing campaign mission flight path
Hi all
Just wondering if you guys edit the default campaign mission flight path routes in order to avoid SAMs, AAA, etc?
I ask as one recent mission had me flight in the path of some SA2s SA3 and some AAA. Can I change the route in order to avoid these threats, as long as I keep the TOS times as close as possible?

Default Loadout?
Hi all
I had a DEAD mission today in KTO that was targeting ZSU’s and other AAA guns. The loadout for myself and my wingman was HARMs.
I changed mine and my wingman’s to CBUs.It seems odd to me that the AI would give us HARMS when the mission was to destroy AAA guns.
Do you guys change campaign mission default loadouts to a more personalized loadout or do you just go with the default?

Fish's Voice Profile not working for departure
HI all
I have the latest VAP from Fish for BMS 4.37.U3 and it seems that the “Ready for Departure” command isn’t working.
In VA the command is recognized but when I inspect the keypress associated with it, it says to press the 2 key, which is seems incorrect. It should be the 4 key?
I say “Tower Ready for departure” and nothing happens.
The other Ground commands seem to be working so far.I’m certain I installed the profile correctly.
Any help would be great

TE Kneeboard default?
Hey all
Is there a way I can “reset” the kneeboards to the default for a TE?
I am trying some TE’s for practice and have found that after a campaign mission, the kneeboards are not setup for the particular TE I am trying, i.e. the Mav TE

@AviationPlus Thanks for the info. I’ll look it up in the threat guide. I just assumed that since it was A, it was anti aircraft guns.

Shot down by AAA without any warning, other than A on RWR
Hi all
I was just flying along on a DEAD at about 1500ft and had a A with two small dots under it showing on the RWR.
I knew it was triple A and started to jink a bit but had to visual on tracers being fired at me. I resumed my course towards the SA2 site and after a min of flying fairly straight and level, all my instruments went out and the engine began to spool down along with several warnings.
I knew I had been hit and the debrief confirmed it. I had no warnings per say, just all of a sudden, nothing.
Any ideas as to what may have happened and why I was shot down so quickly? May I should have jinked more and kept the A symbol on the the left or right of the RWR circle?

Just wanted to ask that when I click Get DTC File, the corresponding .ini file for the campaign mission I saved isn’t found.
Am I missing a step in order to load the DTC file?

What about how the campaign engine generates missions, particularly how does it take what would be IRL, as far as I know, would be a 5-6 hour mission, say a SEAD/OCA mission, and compress that down to a flight that takes about 1.5 hours?
Does the engine have a formula/algorithm that it uses to scale the in game flying time so that a real life mission doesn’t take the same length of time in the sim?
