Nevermind, fixed it. It was caused by a developer option. As soon as I disabled “Don’t keep activities”, the app registered again the settings .

Weird behaviour with PSUDP v3
Hi
I wonder if anybody came across this problem.
I installed PsUDP v3 in a relic of a tablet running Android 4. It can launch the app, apparently ok. The trouble is that when I enter any settings (for instance the IP for the server) and then I leave the settings screen for the main screen, when I go back to the settings screen, nothing has been changed. It is as if I didn’t enter anything. The funny bit is that the same app runs perfectly in two more tablets I have, with the same age and OS.Any suggestions?

RE: MFD extraction to two Android tablets behind Cougar MFDs
Hi there
New version available of PSUdp server. Shep has fixed many things and made it compatible with .35 and its dx weirdnesses.

RE: New free MFD/ICP app to control Falcon BMS from touch devices
Hello
I’ve just tried the app, and it is amazing.
In my equipment (too old to be even considered low-end), runs with very little delay, maybe 500 ms; both ICP/DED and MFDs. The DED uses the original monospace font, so it doesn’t appear distorted.
I’ve used it over wifi, from Windows 7 to a 4.4.2 Android tablet. If it can run so smoothly with this crap of equipment, I wonder what can be done with a proper modern suite…As I see you are open to comments and suggestions, can you think of a way of sending the extraction of each MFD to two different IP in the same Wifi? I have a pair of those TM MFD frames, and I was thinking of stuffing a pair of Android tablets behind those frames. I used to be able to do that via some other app, but NEVER with this little delay of yours. Also, in order to fit behind the frames, would be useful to be able to resize the image from the Android app (to adjust it to different sizes and resolutions). Don’t worry if it’s not feasible, it’s just my personal setup and ideas.
Anyhow, the app looks great and very promising.

MFD extraction to two Android tablets behind Cougar MFDs
Hi there.
I know this is a cheeky and lazy request, but THIS is the place for questions about BMS.
I’ve been using for years two android tablets stuck (with blue tack) behind two Thrusmaster Cougar MFDs. The software I chose was PS-UDP (https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?8495-PS-UDP-Falcon-Server-for-Android&highlight=psudp). Maybe the refresh rate was far from real-time, but it gave me the ability to get two separate MFDs images (one for each tablet), and to resize the extracted MFD to perfectly fit inside the Cougar frames. The refresh rate was not crucial for me, because what I was really interested in were the mnemonics in the MFD. As a plus, I got some additional instruments that could go on the “excess” screen area outside the frames. I digress…
Since the 4.35 update, the swap to DX11 made the screen extraction from the shared memory unusable (I believe it is a nVidia relate issue).
The question is, is there any such software that could allow me to extract the MFDs from BMS 4.35 to two different Android tablets?
Thanks for any suggestions!

RE: Falcon 4.35 stops working when going from 2d to 3d (Fixed)
My two cents:
I had the same error; same symptoms. Then I double checked the system requirements, and realized that I didn’t have the “Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64” update. :rtfm:
Installed it and that fixed it for me.Hope it helps

RE: Chengdu J-20
Gentlemen!
What are we talking about here? The aim of BMS has always been to be creative and pretty, even if that means to release half baked add-ons. Let’s not stop producing stuff just because there is no way to get reliable data. Who wants a handbook nowadays? Actually, I think it is about time it is implemented a single autostart shortcut like Ctrl-E in MS FS.

RE: G940 "Limpy" & also: force feedback? [SOLVED]
Hi
Also, remember that the joystick has a sensor (opposite to the S4 button) that detects if you are actually holding the joy.
If you stop covering that sensor by letting your hand go, the force feedback stopsRegards, Dani
PS: once again, shame on logitech for giving up on that flight system!

RE: HAT switches on g940
I agree with those discoveries.
Since the update I also came across a difference in the behaviour of the logitech software. It seems to ignore (or not) key combinations depending on which executable you choose as target for the logitech software (launch.exe vs falconbms.exe).
