RE: Pics of your flight setup / home cockpit
Here is the work of one of the pilots of our wing, SKYHUNTER, in a very creative way with PVC water pipes and an electric iron he gave it shape including basic knowledge of electronics along with some buttons and arduinos sent by our great friends from many parts of the world.
Our community and our pilots are the example that there are no limits to flying the best and most majestic domestic combat simulator today and since 1998.

RE: 2023 - Retrospective from a BMS team member
From the depths of our hearts, our wing and I especially want to thank you for all the hard work of more than a decade and all the effort put in by the BMS team, old and new who come to replace the veterans, this is the cycle of life, the endless cycle.
But especially I want to mention a new and not so new talent acquired by the development team, a raw diamond who with his wisdom and patience takes care of us like a big brother, I am talking about our friend @Seifer, loved by the entire community and by each member of our wing. Far away in the south wherever you are brother, a big hug.greetings.

RE: 4.37 Campaigns using AGM 65L
@Stevie said in 4.37 Campaigns using AGM 65L:
@Soundman - first, in RL an LMAV is a more effective weapon within the battle space…shocks me how long it took to get an LMAV into BMS, really. Secondly, MAV G in BMS is greatly over-modeled compared to RL, and I’m not even sure that the majority of the earlier types are even in inventory anymore. Plus no weapon is truly “fire and forget” for numerous of reasons…especially in the A/G arena.
Which is an even more basic issue - in a lot of cases, type aircraft, systems, weapons, and/or tactics within given scenarios don’t always line up with historical timelines or reality…and I’m not sure just how to address/solve that other than knowing more about history and RL and sticking to that rather than “the book”. Which actually works out really well, but requires some self-imposed rules, restrictions, and discipline.
@Stevie , you left the selector of the rifle of disagreements on burst, there were 2 in less than 10 milliseconds. Here we all know that you have launched mavericks, you have worked at NASA, at Roll Royce, at the RWR factory, at DARPA, in the ejection seat department and hundreds of other professions in the aeronautical sector, but please remember that This is free, the guys who are at the top of the command ladder of this community do not have a penny through their hands and it is their family and life time that they are investing in us, so “BRO”, go easy With the criticism, they are giving everything.

@VIPER-0 @MailMan
Have they already dropped work on Falcon 5 to work on Falcon 6? Sweet!
Would you guy mind adding to your post what days/times you guys fly?Our wing operates with -5 UTC (Zulu).
The time of flight is variable, as the free time of our members is different, it may be that someone flies at 2 am LT and finishes 5 or the majority of us who fly 19 to 22 LT.If you will find in our discord the wing’s flight log that is updated live when a pilot finishes a flight cycle (takeoff-landing) or directly executes or dies with a 0 and a death added to his history.
We are a Spanish-speaking community but we have no limits of age or language, in the art of virtual flight we speak the same universal language: aeronautics.
Also the guys from 6th VFW guided by @MailMan are doing a good job and it would be great to expand their pilot team. We also support them in recruiting and wish them success in their operations.

RE: How to lubricate a squeaky bearing in my Slaw Device RX Viper pedals?
@Mylonite470 @RalphROV
It is correct and when the oil dries out it makes the plastic wear out faster.It has to be silicone-based grease or one that I would recommend for prolonged service and use time graphitized grease. It has excellent qualities against cyclic movements and a very low level of evaporation, not to say almost zero.
Many years ago I used NK-10 graphitized grease used in Soviet aviation for my handcrafted peripherals, pedals and power lever, and until their last day they remained perfectly lubricated.

RE: How hard would it be?
@greenman said in How hard would it be?:
@VIPER-0 i guess the “tons” were a bit exagerated
Now, we are speaking correctly.
how in the world did they get one in msfs or in prepar3d?
making conjectures and guessing many things, like many of the aircraft they have , whoever has worked on them can find tons of things that are not well implemented.
and would it be possible to use msfs or prepar3d as a referance guide?
If you wanted to continue carrying the same error (snowball effect)

RE: Sources of HFFM
@Mav-jp said in Sources of HFFM:
@Mav-jp I want to ask a question and I think you are the right person.
Due to my professional background, I am in charge of teaching theoretical classes on the technical aspects of the F-16, let’s say, engines, hydraulics, systems-subsystems and everything related.
The guys from the wing tell me to publish a series of videos on digital platforms (YouTube) with this content that is very little known by the virtual pilots of our simulator and is very important.
Knowing that there are real F-16 manuals released on the internet and that they are “released” does not mean legally free.
The question is, is there any legal or safety problem that is explained in a YouTube video how it works, for example (hydraulic system A and B) using the real F-16 manual found on the internet.
Would an act of this type have any type of legal repercussions?
