There’s really no confusion about it. Yes it is naturally a boom tanker, but it is often configured to be prove and drogue friendly. As I said, I have executed both in real life. The probe and drogue config is not unusual. It is frequently used.

RE: Tankers
Not true. It can be configured with a basket on the end of the book or with MIPR pods. I’ve refueled off of a 135 in both configurations.

RE: BMS 4.33U3 Crash on End Mission in Campaign
Ok. Still had an identical problem that was solved by running windowed mode.

RE: BMS 4.33U3 Crash on End Mission in Campaign
I had a problem like that where BMS would CTD on me every time I exited a mission at the same point you describe. Are you running Window 10 by chance? The only thing that has worked for me, is to run the game in windowed mode. It doesn’t affect the 3D environment at all, but it makes the 2D stuff a bit smaller to work with. Better than crashing after spending an evening on a flight though.

RE: Crash on mission end
Well, that didn’t do it. BMS crashed on exit again. Seems to happen every 2 to 3 flights. The only thing that seems to work is deleting the dx9 file every time. It’s a total pain. When it crashes, it also doesn’t leave a crashlog, so I can’t even see what’s up. Hoping for a fix in U4. Until then, I may give up on playing. It happens in single player campaign, I’ve already deleted the movies, there doesn’t seem to be a reason for this. I’m running windows 10, and bms 4.33U3. Very frustrated.

RE: Crash on mission end
To early to tell if it’s a permanent fix, but I wiped my display drivers with DDC and performed a clean install with nbidia. Only two test flights so far, but both worked. I still have the videos removed from the video folder as well.

RE: Bug? Crashes when leaving simulaton at 1920 x 1080
I’m having the same issue running a smart tv as a monitor. I’ll try the external display thing tonight and see. The UI thing sounds like a pain though.

RE: Crash on mission end
So, it’s crashing again on mission exit. It seems to be when it tried to switch from the 3D cockpit to the 2D UI. Every 2-3 flights. I exit bms after each flight and restart. Seems that the only thing that works is to delete the dx9 file and start again. It’s annoying though, because I lose credit for every second or third sortie. It’s getting old having to refly them all the time.

RE: Crash on mission end
Not sure why it would have been causing crashes on the first mission, but moving the video files to a temp folder seems to have worked for me. 4 sorties in, and so far no crashes. Maybe I was doing so awesome, that I won the campaign after the first flight!

RE: Crash on mission end
I’ll try the video thing tonight. I’m reading that Windows 10 creators update is causing game crashes, and also nvidia drivers have been causing memory leaks. I’ll look into both of those as well. I’m running the gtx 1070 and have 32 gigs of ram, so I really shouldn’t be having issues with either, but I’ll check.
