Neither do I my monitor is HP 2310m / GPU MSI GTX 1070x 8gb / 32mb Viper mem so I should be able to push things pretty far but since it is the season it might be a nice x-mas gift

What is your Bit and Ratio you are using?
Right now I’m using 1600x1024 16 bit 25:16 in BMS, but using 1680x1050.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m using a Sony 40" Smart TV for my main monitor. I’m going to start experimenting with different resolutions to see if I can get the insturment panels to come in clearer. I’m not using a Tracker so when I switch views to see them, they are still a little fuzzy, and yes I have done ‘Look Close’ but I think it can still come out a bit clearer.

Hey guys,
Change everything back to 1920x1080.
Then go into your User>Config folder and delete the dx9display.dsp file.
When you relaunch BMS that file will regenerate.
See if that helps any.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
I tried that but it still crashes when ending a mission. I use a new Samsung HDTV. Like I said, 4.32 worked fine but 4.33 crashes at the 1920 x 1080 resolution when exiting a mission (even after playing the mission for a while). If other people are running fine like this then it’s probably my setup, maybe my graphics card driver but I am using the latest.

redance… meaning re install.

I’ve had this happen a few times, but only over the last couple of days.I’m asking about it as the only variable for me is that I am running a campaign(Korea 2012) all the way through. I’m on Day 8. In the past, once the SAMs stop shooting I’d move on to another campaign. Anyway, I’m wondering if that could possibly be an issue? I’ve read that ACMI size can effect the speed BMS returns to the debrief.I am keeping ACMI file size from getting too big, but could something else be “timing out”?
If so, is there anything I can do to “help the system”? -
I was having a similar problem. CTD when exiting 3d world. Turning on vertical sync cured it for one mission and it then reared it’s ugly head. Deleting dx9display.dsp also fixed it for me, until it started again. Finally found a workaround by running the game with external displays on. The 3d world is still 1920 x 1080, but no crash on exit. Only compromise is the UI is also drawn in 1920 x 1080, as a window in the centre of the screen. Magnifying glass no included.
I’m guessing my problem was with the gpu getting stuck changing resolution on landing, ejecting, or filling the cockpit with bits of hair and teeth in the wrong order…

I’m having the same issue running a smart tv as a monitor. I’ll try the external display thing tonight and see. The UI thing sounds like a pain though.
