NEED YOUR HELP: Unstable performance, majpr lags & crash using YAME
-
Hey friends,
I have the following problem:
I use my main screen and 2 add. 7" LCD’s (Display port/HDMI) to extract MFD’s using YAME64 V1.1.
Windows display configuration is: Extended desktop.
When I play the game, I have a decent FPS but I have multiple 2 second lags resulting in a crash with the WINDOWS 10 error message: Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware - FalconBMS.exe.
System specs:MSI GS60 2PC
- Intel i7 4710HQ @ 2.5 Ghz (up to 3.2)
- NVIDIA GTX 860M 2GB
- RAM 16GB
I have troubleshot a lot lately varying YAME settings, NVIDIA settings, Falcon BMS settings.
**I can say the following:
- YAME is causing the problem, runs at high FPS
- Falcon Display Extractor works stable but at marginal FPS**
The possibility that I did something wrong configuring YAME is high so here are some screenshots of my config.
I use it on a single Computer with two external displays. No network servers or similar. Here’s the matrix of what I troubleshot so far:
Can anyone help me?
Thanks gents!
Matt

As a disclaimer, I don’t run YAME on separate displays, and I don’t use Win10.
I would try changing the MFD width/height dimensions to something with a square aspect ratio. Start with 400x400, for example. If that is stable, then scale up proportionally to fill the screen/bezel.

Can I change the resolution of the extracted image and stretch it to fill the MFD’s?

My hunch is based off your 4th pic (YAME > Client > Gauges > MFD & HUD), where your dimensions of 855x650 create a rectangle, instead of a square. The assumption is that YAME has some difficulty in the translation.
So yes, you change the resolution in that page. Assuming that 650 fills the screen in one axis, try 650x650 to see if you still have issues.
