Not the correct guide rail, though. He pushed it straight out of OFF into IDLE.
I think Ill probably be making a guide rail rather than trying something like that.

Hello,
same for me.
And I’m still searching one.
Any ideas?

I have a metal one made by Dunk at ASG, but I got it on a group buy over at VP years ago…haven’t seen him do a run since. I know of another guy down in Cal City that is working on making them for offer, but he’s not in production as of yet. I was surprised at how small this part actually is…the throw on the arm in the video looks a bit long to me (I also have a real F-16 throttle arm).

In my humble opinion, a moot point. I would imagine that for most people having something like this would be ideal, and given the “in and out of off” position is so rarely used most could live with the compromise - more important you cannot accidently push the throttle from idle to off than the other way around (ask Darkman… :D). Of course, if I were going for a full-on replica pit it would be a different story, but that’s not going to happen this side of retirement.
