GAMETRIX KW-908 JETSEAT

Are you BLOODY SERIOUS??? If $500 USD is all he needs to develop it for BMS, I am sure he will get that in no time.
Have you seen the people who have built replica cockpits for Falcon? Have you seen the even crazier ones that got real-life gauges to work with the sim? Have you seen how much those real-life gauges work? $500 USD is peanuts in the scheme of things.
I’ll even go so far as to say that I’ll back this project and even if only one other person backs it with me, we WILL get this into BMS if $500 is all he needs.
Can you get me an email address I can start the ball rolling? I just finished organizing a massive TacView group buy with 80+ buyers getting 100+ copies of TacView, this might just be my next project!

Are you BLOODY SERIOUS???
now someone talking…i’m new to this forum and was wondering some people doesn’t willing to pay small amount of $ to get amazing add-on to this magnificent SIM (which BTW free-of-charge)
to me this add-on like TrIR - you try once - you will never fly without.Ice i will ask =Andre= to contact you, you can also find him on DCS forum (follow to my links above)
-
No offense meant, HiWay! That was just me being surprised…. I know $500 can be a lot of money, but “a lot” is quite a relative term. Considering that we buy CPUs and GPUs that costs hundreds of $$$ and that’s just for your average gamer… I’m not even a die-hard cockpit builder and I’ve spent a lot on tools just to allow me to build a pit.
I look forward to speaking with Andre.

Stay tuned Something is on the radar…

So I’m helping test the Alpha version of the jetseat and it’s as good as my report on the DCS version. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2430581&postcount=182
There is now only one function not simulated at this time. -

Thanks good job, glad to see it’s picking up on BMS as well

If one is going to get a new toy to Christmas, it’s a right time to order.
But at the moment only Gametrix KW-901 model left. KW-908 all gone. -
Is it possible to participate in the testing as well?

Looks nice.
I noticed, if Google Translate is correct, a warning on he Gametrix website regarding it won’t work with sounds from a headset. Probably misunderstanding but how do you connect a jetseat with audio and at the same time have your BMS sounds get to your headset then?
Any English web stores selling the seats? Only found Russian ones and even with Google Translate it isn’t very easy to order one. And without the language issue, if there are selling points in Europe/USA that would result in less import taxes etc. -
Hi.
Read this subject, all about compatibility of a cape with sound devices here.

You have no need to use Gametrix JetSeat sound mode for Falcon BMS. USB support is implemented.

And without the language issue, if there are selling points in Europe/USA that would result in less import taxes etc.there are two interfaces for Gametrix seat - Audio and USB. Andre did SW interface with seat using USB which allows you to get different vibrations in different places (up to 6) depends on effect (air brake, gear move etc…) about 10 effects for now.
Also SW support Buttckickers using Audio outputs in addition to BMS Audio.may be check this forum http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=144060

A little addition to HiWay’s reply:
The audio interface you only use in games/sims without support for the Gametrix seat.
For instance I use it for RoF, which does not have support for it. This works fairly ok.But the intrinsic effects in SimShaker are much better:
For gears in/out and payload drop you would feel it in your butt.
(Gears in/out and payload drop can sometimes be so detailed that you can feel if you drop left, right or center…)
Afterburner etc. you would feel in your back.
AoA shakes etc you feel in the whole seat. The audio interface is pass-through, that means, you connect the seat jack to your PC sound output, then connect your headset or speakers to a jack in the seat wire bundle.
As for effects I am yet to try them in BMS, but if they are anywhere near the effects we got in DCS, you are in for a treat.

If anyone is concerned with sending funds to Andre to purchase a Jetseat, he is a stand up guy and you can see that at the Ed forum thread. He has purchased and shipped seats for people all over the world and is one of the quickest people I know to respond with tracking numbers after funds are received. :headb: I had a tracking number within 12 hours and we live in complete opposite time zones.
