For BMS 2.0 - well I would recommend asking the folks who offer it as a download, for support with it.
-
well its version 1 i believe to have read inside the game theatre switcher.
i just googled falcon 4 bms nevada and that is what i get i was not lookin for torrent kind of downloads. just if there are some free maps.
well it works but not correctly when i am at indian springs and ask for taxi i get the comment from the tower to contact the tower when i am 30 miles out…
and the trees at runways and and gras.i just created a new campaign for this version of nevada… but i cant find the file where the campaign button text are located so for the first 2 times i did not have the right campaign selected.
so i will try it right now with the good one.
-
Not surprising that you have issues with it - it was built for BMS 2.0 - You are probably using BMS 4.33?
Should work as intended if you install 2.0, but Id recommend sticking with 4.33 tbh.
-
I have the Foinikas nevada also ported to 4.33 but still the same problem with trees in the airbases…. Probably it needs edit the tile sets from Monster’s tool if you still want the autogen trees and grass but the campaigns for me doesn’t work…

manos 1981 question i see you also got a i7 cpu… i have not a great i7 the 860 2,8ghz
but my question is all other games including arma 3 i run at 50 to 55 degrees celsius but falcon bms 4.33 it runs at 62 degrees celsius.and for my temp readings i have 4 cores and a main temp where my cpu cooler is running on… is that the case temp that cant be higher then 72 degrees celsius?
on topic :
manos1981 i made my own campaign that thing worked like a charm…
around 40 squadrons. with lots of sa 17 and sa 5 sam threats , tankers, awac, i added area 51/groom lake. that also worked.
the only thing i cant get working besides the comm is the campaign button to change to my campaign name.i did not change a thing to “converted” it to bms 4.33
just installed and change the campaign.http://www.mediafire.com/download/9qbrcarcmmq7hm0/my+campaign.rar - my campaign

First of All thanks for sharing the campaign.
second:
My cpu also runs hotter in Falcon, caus (i think and maybe the forum DEVs or the programmer of this great sim can help here) falcon is more demandin on CPU than other games cause of its engine and code. It is using CPU very much cause tha code of the game is old and i think it uses DX10 (correct me people if im wrong) libraries. Newer games of course they have dx11 or greater engines that is more demanding on GPU and not CPU, I run ARMA III or Battlefield 4 in max settings and my GPU goes hotter than my CPU and on Falcon i have the opposite effect. Also if you runn on window mode and you have a program that you can see the cores usage of the CPU you can see that falcon utilizes 1 Core and sometime 100% of it and all other newer games uses all of the cores in maybe 50-70%.
I hope i was helpful. As for core temps
on different stepping q6600 for example stepping B0 was hotter than q6600 stepping A or something but the B0 was more good in overclocking then the A. Anyway Tj 90-105 its the temperature that most of the new cpus starts to throttle down so they dont get damaged Tj MAXX is what you have to be carefull for, T case most of the times is Lower for 20 degrees… Again i hope i was helpful
CheersPS. The tcase readings in most cases is the readings of the die cover of the cpu. wile Tj Maxx is the actuall cpu temp or what a cpu can hold!

thx for your time to explain
the red line is also some temp of my cpu but most of the time even when the cores are up to 62 degrees celsius
this is then around 52 degrees celsius but some times it goes to allmost 72 degrees celsius. is this the max tj temps??well my gpu is a older vid card then yours… its a asus 460 gt direct cu top < better pipeline , better cooling , higher amount of mhz/ghz then the stock 460 gt
may because i use a antec skeleton case <250 mm fan that cools my heat pipes from my gpu keeps my mobo/ram memory cooler
but my vid temps most games are very low arma 3 52 degrees celsius. with frame rate locked at 60.
FSX 32 degrees celsius only at some airports like amsterdam-schiphol it go’s up to 42 degrees.falcon 4 bms 52 degrees celsius.
some times when i pause the sim. and go alt tab i see that my core temps are 62-65 degrees but not all of the times i alt tab some times its in the same mission 52 degrees and at the red line i see the tems some times at 58 degrees celsius but also as with the core temps some times in the same mission its 48 degrees celsius.
this is not what i see with games like arma 3 or dying light, thats stable around 55 degrees <at the=“” red=“” line=“” in=“” my=“” pic=“”>but this i also see with FSX so running in directx10 mode
so i think your right that this is a problem with older engines with our i7 technogly
but about the core load … yes sometimes i see its running one 1 core with some load on the hyper threaded cores and the other 3 main cores.
some times i see the 4 main cores with the 4 hyper threaded cores a load around 60 % it switches alot…no stable cpu use with older games on i7.
but besides the temps the sim is running great, locked at 60 fps and using nvidia inspector to force some options.
manos do you know about how to edit some aircraft in bms 4.33?
i fly with the dutch f-16 am or in real life the f-16 mlu with the mlu the f-16 block 15 are updated with block 52 avionics and pod options.
i cant select hts pod for the f-16 am but in real life the dutch f-16’s can use those pods. so they can use the full function of the harm missilei like to change that.
also with the nevada theatre i still can’t select any comms i hear AI aircraft gets full instructions i only hear my callsign like viper-2
well i have flown my campaign… the indian springs runway disapears and the f-16 is sunk in to the ground at some places at the airbase
but its a little hardcore most squadrons are shot out of the sky from the sa 17 and sa 5 and 6.yeah i need to work more on it but this was my first try to make a campaign.
i am used to edit lot of games/sims but falcon 4 bms well its harder then most games to edit.ps. does somebody know where i can find the proper tower freq for airbases in falcon bms?</at>

ps. does somebody know where i can find the proper tower freq for airbases in falcon bms?
If you asking for data and not for document that always is into the “Docs” subfolder, then each theater has a file named “stations+ils.dat”.
This file is into this folder …\Falcon BMS 4.33\Data\Campaign\Save for the default theater Korea, and into this folder …\Falcon BMS 4.33\Data\Add-On Israel\campaign for the Israel theater.
So just check into the folder “Campaign” or in its subfolder “Save” (if there is) of your desired theater for BMS 4.33. For BMS 4.32 theaters, you should also check for the folder that has the same theater name. e.g. …\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Add-On theater-name\Campaign\theater-name.
If you can’t see this file, that means that this file must be created from scratch.
This file “stations+ils.dat” contains the TACAN channels and ranges, ATC UHF and VHF frequencies as also the ILS Loc frequencies.
Each airport has a specific one line into this file, with the below format of 12 slots of data spacing with a “space”, example:
48 117 X 6 25 1 342050 125750 10930 0 0 0
Counting from left to right, always the 7th number is the ATC UHF frequency and the 8th number is the ATC VHF frequency.
I hope this help ;).

My pleasure to help!
Well i think the only otpion to edit the loadouts of a plane is F4browse or edit the .dat file of the aircraft type. When i get back home i will check it and send you the solution cause even me i go searching -

“Better twice than never”, more or less. And you can bet well you helped a lot… as you usual, no surprise about that. Thanks a lot, with best regards,
