DonLduk's Profile (4.33)
-
This was for BMS. I’m not messing with a profile for DCS just yet. Thank you so much for your response. I’ll implement it right away.
-
let me know if this worked for you. thanks

I have verified Stick on ID 0 Throttle on ID1, when I run script it makes my throttle disconnect and dissapear from PC (no lights, no identification in device manager). and now I cant use it at all unless I swap ports and have it auto detect again, even after restart.
Now they are both gone, after I tried a second time.Unplugged restarted, and re-plugged in, still dead, I’m sure if I move USB they will work again, but I want my old ports back and that problem solved before I move on.
Edit: Fixed them back to square one by identifying correct “USB interface device” in device manager and uninstalling.
any ideas?
Final Edit: 100% issue on my end, so I will keep trying to find a fix.
Edit Ender: FIxed by reinstalling Target

Open DonLduk TMWH 433.key with notepad
press ctrl-f (to find)
search for “OTWSelectWeaponMode” until you find this block of textCoolie Switch
OTWSelect3DCockpitMode 277 -1 -2 0 0X0 0 “”
SimHSDRangeStepUp 278 -1 -2 0 0X0 0 “”
OTWSelectWeaponMode 279 -1 -2 0 0X0 0 “”
SimHSDRangeStepDown 280 -1 -2 0 0X0 0 “”change the OTWSelectWeaponMode text to either of these option (depending on what you want)
OTWStepNextPadlock
OTWStepPrevPadlock
OTWStepNextPadlockAA
OTWStepPrevPadlockAA
OTWStepNextPadlockAG
OTWStepPrevPadlockAG
OTWSelectF3PadlockMode
OTWSelectF3PadlockModeAA
OTWSelectF3PadlockModeAGdon’t mess up the spaces, make sure you replace the text only.
save, load the keyfile in BMS, and you should be set.

Thx!

If you read the .txt with care you will see the structure for the DirectX assigned callbacks. By modifying these you can adapt the profile to your liking. cheers

Thanks for the great profile. Works like a champ.
After I run the script in TARGET (any script for that matter) my controller appears as “Thrustmaster Virtual Game Controller (root)” in the BMS menu, DCS, DXDiag, WIN device manager etc…
I sent a lengthy email to TM support they responded with a “don’t worry about it” explanation. I am running Windows 10 and did not have this problem in WIN 7. The controller and script work fine regardless.
Cheers!

I resolved, the buttons didn’t work due unprogrammed DX buttons in the key file.
Thanks

Awesome profile, but for some reason lately when I try to unmute the mic in TS it doesn’t unlock. When it does it seem to be delayed and the same happens when I push to talk. The would also stick.

Hi here, shifted action are not working working on the stick for me, but works fine on the throttle. I’m french so my keyboard is in Azerty, can it be the problem ?
-
No matter what I do I can’t get my pc to save the controller ID’s and I can’t get the TM joystick in ID 0 or the throttle to ID 1 etc. Win 10 pro, using a USB hub also no help. I had 4.33 installed on the old pc and can’t get it to work on this new pc. Wasn’t there a specific folder that I could open in windows that I could manually change Controller ID positions? I’ve played all the flight sims ie, BoS, RoF, CLoD, DCS but BMS is the most awesome with the dynamic campaign scenario, I miss it and can’t wait to get it working again. In the past I was able to use DonLDuk’s profile without a problem and my pc remembered my HID usb’s every time. Every time I do get it to work it changes after every reboot. Please help someone!
Salute!
