Help with TFR
-
Whenever I press the NORM button, a red box appears blinking that says TRF limit, and the plane keeps saying pull up, over and over.
I cant figure out why, everything seems to be fine. Also the auto pilot does nothing.I saw a video on you tube of someone using it, and these things did not happen to him, and when he pressed the autopilot, the plane followed the ground correctly.
Thanx for any help.

Make sure your radar altimeter is on.
-
Also, check your speed…350kts or higher.
-
TFR Speed limit has no aural warning. Only HUD and MFD messages are provided.
BillyKid’s warring is triggered by missing or invalid radar altimeter data. Since he had no fly-up leads me to the conclusion the MAN TF switch was not in the enable position.
I would advise him to always have it set to enable so the TFR would provide protection when Manual TF is used. -
But you do get the TFR red box limit…

Thanx guys. I started a campaign against strong DPRK. I changed all the US squadrons to various Tornado squadrons. I new I was going to attack Heaju, so I added a squadron of Mig 29’s to help them defend.
I turned off HQ frag for the three tornado squads(I added one) flying out of Kusan. I had 1 ADV, one IDS, and one anti rad(with the flying tiger mouth :)) I fragged the attack using those three squads, including 8 total ADV’s.
The 29’s shot down 10 tornado’s However, I flew the 2 ship bombers and we totally destroyed the airfield, hit it with a standoff missle each, then layed down 6 mk83’s along the runway in ripple mode.
I would have made it back to base except I turned back to help my wingman who was defensive with a 29. I shot 2 29’s with aims before another shot me down. One of my best missions really. I dove low after the standoff attack and came in under all the dogfighting.
Man, 10 tornado’s lost on first mission….poor bastards lol
I guess the tornado’s do not match up to well with 29’s.

Yes. Hence why I say “only HUD and MFD messages are provided”
To avoid confusion, the TFR limit MFD caution is in yellow
