U.I. in 1920 x 1080
-
Hi all,
Is there a way to run the BMS User Interface in 1920 x 1080? I noticed that instead i set up a 1920 x 1080 resolution for the desktop, when i run BMS U.I. , the resolition switches to 1024 x 768. I need to know that because i run the RWR emulator tool given by the new 4.33 on a second monitor. And if i exit BMS and run it again, the instrument position change and so i have to place it back where i want manually every time! -
anche a me…

No, not possible.
Arrange the displays in Windows so that the additional monitor running gauge extraction is ABOVE the main display so the position of the gauges won’t change. Or run BMS windowed.

Using Gigurra software, if you have a slave PC, you can mantain fullscreen and extract RWR…

Only english posting allowed here, ragazzi
Now that i can read it also (my Italian does more or less not exist): MFDE can also run in Client/Server mode to extract to another PC.
But the easiest way is to place the “gauge monitor” to the upper left corner.

What you can do instead is run BMS in windowed mode. This way, the resolution does not change - the UI remains at the lower resolution and instead only covers a portion of the screen, while the 3D world remains full HD and covers the entire screen.

My question is just opposite. Before I bought my new HW UI always kept 1024x768 res but now somehow is streched on the whole screen and suffers from distorsion. I cannot fix it…

Go to the “screen properties” (right click on desktop) and on the screen configuration you will findo something like “keep proportion” (I don’t know how it is in english, I have my system in italian, so forgive me).

Thank you all for your answers!!! Well, i’ll try to position the second screen above the main one from windows screen options. I don’t try with windowed mode because it cut me 20/25 FPS in 3D.
P.S. how many Italians here! XD un saluto dal 102 Gruppo Volo Virtuale!!! -

Ciao,
do you have an integrated graphic card? Maybe the problem lies there…- niphredil -

Negative. Problem solved by moving the second monitor above the first one in Windows monitor setup! Thank you!
