Download Falcon MFD-2 (Ver 1.6.4)What News:
- I cancelled “Does Not Mach Key” Message
- I add SP lines and Thread Area on Map
- I add Dinstance and Head Data for Air Porst on Map
2. could we have an option to start ‘minimised’ since most times this is all we need, once its configured. (this might be a challenge since you would need to store a variable somewhere in a config or ini file.
I am so sorry I can not do this
But if you want you can use HOME button on your deviceGood Fly

Thanks for the update, Komurcu!
I think the poster meant minimizing the server window on the PC, not the android application.
Cheers, Uwe

Yeap I believe also he meant the server app and not the android app.

Some small bugs:
- When starting up the server it starts always maximized. It is not sized to the latest windows size.
- I had to change my key file and replace ‘x’ to ‘X’ to get the buttons working. This is mentioned before in other postings.
- When I switch to MFD the MFD screens are “hiding” the buttons. The buttons are hard to see.
I don’t use this functionality. Is there a way to get rid of this error message?
Excellent program! The program has all functionality I need. Thanks a lot for all your effort.

My tablet can’t connect with server on my notebook. I don’t know why. I followed downloadable instructions publicated in first post. When I start FalconMFDServer.exe and app on tablet green lights don’t turn on in server window. Firewall checked. IP checked many times, both on notebook and tablet. Any ideas?

Can you ping your tablet? Turn off your firewall on the laptop just for testing.

Open with notepad++ your active keyfile and change for example 0x3 in 0X3 for de keys used in de server part of the program. Then reload your keyfile in de server part of the program. The buttons will work now.
I had the same problem and found this solution mentioned earlier by others in this topic.

I turned my firewall off. Can you explain sentence “ping smth”? I don’t know what does it mean

Hai Komurcu,
I have everything running except the ews on/off switch but that isn’t to important. In the previous version I had a smooth respons on the app but when using the TPG it started to lag behind. In te last version the TPG has no effect I can notice but I have a halve a second delay with every press in the app. Is this what I should expect or do I have an Issue somewhere?

Open an command line window and type in: ping 192.168.1.1 where this number has to be the network address of your tablet. Maybe is it a better idea to ask one of your friends with basic network knowledge.

Be sure that all other apps are closed down on your tablet. Maybe there is an other app in the background using network resources? (updates e.d.)

Ok, I did what you told me to do. Look like PC detect and exchange data with tablet via network. No packet loss, averge ping is 53 ms.

Did you change the ip address on the app to the ip of the server? Save it and restart the app. Be sure all other apps in the background are closed.
Do you have a reliable wireless connection with your tablet without dropouts? 53ms seems to be a little bit slow.
In my situation I have a wireless access point about 2 meters from my desk.

Yes, I have changed, saved and restarted. All apps closed. I’ve got reliable connection because router is my, I’m an administrator. I noticed something. When I launch server there is it’s IP in left upper corner. Should it be 192.168.X.X? Currently there is 25.135.X.X. I entered ipconfig in cmd and that IP (25. …) is same as Hamachi IPv4.

This post is deleted! -
You are using Hamachi? Probably something wrong with your ip address. I’m sorry I do not have any knowledge about Hamachi. I never use such kind of tools.

does anyone know why the links don’t work or have a new place where it can be downloaded?
-
3 days ago I didn’t have any problems. I used the links in the first post of this topic.

Hi FiberGorilla, Komurcu,
I shut down all apps as suggested and it helped some. At the beginning of the flight I have smooth operation but when repeatedly switching between mfd en icp it started to lag. It reminds me of the effect of the memory not being cleared, but honestly I have no idea. I am open to suggestions if noone else suffers from this.
Great app by the way.
