Crashing before getting into 3D world. Can only "Play" in window mode
-
Last night I installed a fresh copy of Falcon 4.0 and BMS 4.33.1. After starting up I got into the menus and configured my control settings. Everything seems to work up until I try to spawn into the 3D world. The game crashes and I can’t proceed. After some goggling I found that I can get into game using Window mode. the problem with this however is it’s a small display window and isn’t ideal.
I know there is a known problem on Windows 10 however has anyone else found a way to fix this? I’m really hoping to get up and flying soon!
Thanks!

Don’t quote me on this cause there’s been several issues with Win10 and they have been resolved.
Not sure, but this “MIGHT” be the one where you need to install in safe mode. Remember, I said might.
Other’s on W10 should be here shortly to assist you.

Window mode can get the whole of your monitor in 3d, yes in 2d is trouble some.
Guys having problems with the anniversary update are you on laptops or desktop?
Do you have 2 vga’s like one Intel onboard?
Have you checked the power settings to be on full performance?
Have u tried window mode?
Posting just I have a problem is like nothing. Post your specs hardware and software see the logs and report them.Sent from TapaTalk

It turns out that re-installing in safe mode done the trick. I still have to play in windowed mode however the window changes to my native monitor resolution now. I managed a quick hour flight last night getting re-antiquated with the F-16 start up process, navigation and landing and it was running pretty solid.
