What are the dds files for the F-16-CM-52?
-
Hi,
in 4.32 (with TE
s) I used Moto
s Arctic Tiger skin ( 3399 - 3408 ), but this isn`t working in 4.33…
BTW: I cannot change the skin at all! I always have South Carolina.Regards

You can view the skins dds number when checking it via LODEditor
go on the plane you want->view textures->click on the textures to view the number

Hi!
Have started LOD-Editor, sorted by name, selected 3200 F-16C-52…and than?
-
Now I clicked on Normal -> View Textures, but these squares are blank?
I also tried for F-16C-50, but it also shows blank squares…But if I click on one square (e.g. for the F-16C-52) it shows 3399 - 3408…
Help!
-
Ok, sorry, forgot the click normal
If you click view textures, there should be a new window open
cif you don’t see any textures, then maybe some are missing, then scroll to the next textures set via one of the “<” buttons
If it shows you a “texture ID” or something like that, maybe in your case 3399-3408, then those are the textures used for that plane, and then you can go search them in the koreaobj. folder and do with them what you want

Yes, it seems that nothing has changed with the dds file number/name (e.g. 3399), but it`s not recognized while in the sim…
And yes, I already tried the “set buttons” like “<”, in the case of the F-16C-52 there are six sets, but all are shown blank…, but I have of course textures while in the sim, though “only” the grey one, but I wanted to have Moto`s Artic Tiger!

Ok! I`ve used the LOD-Editor also for 4.32 and so I used the HDR of it…
Now I changed to 4.33 and the file names are from 3115.
I renamed the old ones ( 3399 - 3408 ) into the new ones (3115 - 3124).
Done!Thanks for your advice, sir!

Easier way is to select the aircraft you want and click on View LOD Tex.
For example, the block 52 shares common files with the block 50 but has 4 distinct tail files.
Click on each to get the number. For the block 52, the tails are 3124-3127.
Some aircraft have different sets of textures. Click the left/right arrows to browse between the sets.

Ah, helpful!
As I created a TE all members (AI) had the same body, but e.g. my AI wingman had a different tail. My was Moto’s tail work, the AI wingman had still 'South Carolina"… -

My was Moto’s tail work, the AI wingman had still 'South Carolina"…Yes, because the main body of the jet uses only 1 set of files (wings, fuselage, etc), but the tails are slot specific and need to be changed for each wingman/slot position.
