How to modify airbase(s) a little?
-
Ok, also solved, but (I hope) the last question is: Is there a proper way to check which objective is for which airbase? (Without comparing e.g. the buildings, so I found e.g. Chongju)?
And, damn another question, is there a simple way to add small parts as a parking range (I found two types a HAS and a parking lot, first too small, second too big)…? (If possible in the same style as a ramp start area!)
Or can some profi create one that I can use?TIA and
best regards

Some objectives are not used. Find the ct number from monsters terrain editor or tacedit or MC?
Then locate the ct in objectives on falcon editor and edit it.
I don’t understand the 120dpi you mentioned.
After changes yes you have to save to db. Don’t have f4browse or other db tools for falcon open at the same time. Will result to no save cause of locked - open file.If u want u can export before changes so to revert. Make sure you select all.

Hi,
The issue is, that I do not know how to chnge an existing object.
I do have the tools from here (TE, MC, LOD-E)…and Paint.Net.Further, I have taken an object e.g. “Parking Lot” and put it into the objective for e.g. Chongju and this is working. But e.g. “Parking Lot” is too big, and a “HAS” is too small (it would need several Copy&Paste and of course each time a slot in the database (like you wrote is max. 255 pieces)).
It would be nice to have an object like that “HAS”, only maybe four times bigger as the original “HAS”…DPI:
If you ue the F4-Editor and you “Edit” an existing object in an objective you will normally (with 100% DPI) have an dialog window where all the buttons (like OK, or Discard) are visible, but with a bigger DPI it can be that those buttons are hide through the window, because of bigger inner side.
E.g. you have a text like “Hallo, I´m here!” and below that text a button like “OK” and window size e.g. 200 px height:
Normal DPI (100%) == all fine
125% == the inner field gets bigger, because of a greater/higher text size and 200 px window height then isn´t enough any more, it would need e.g. 250 px heightRegards

Here’s a pic from Chongju (modified):
In the foreground is the new “Parking Lot” and four times a “HAS”…
(I placed also some other buildings.)Regards

errr change the dpi from sw?
What you can place inside an objective is what there is inside the features db of falcon.
Anything else you have to make it or get it from other theaters that already have it… import it to falcon as a feature and then put it in your objective. -

?
From the Win-7 system settings. I’ve 2560*1440 and I have ~ 1m distance to the monitor. With normal DPI the text is too small for me…

I wait a little, because it is so hot (32° C!), but later in the evening I will try… -

Lol the monitor is the wrong tool for the falcon editing job.

Howsoever, I need a parking lot, best as that parking ranges, but to combine and adjust!
I also had a look at the parking points, and I think I can modify them too.
But I really need a peace of an object to create some better parking places (instead of a spawing flight starts somewhere in the woods)!
Ah, and I tried with my installed theaters (import), but TvT and Strong DPRK do not have other objects then KTO.
An further goal would be to create parking points for helicopters…Til then
