Trackir and Falcon BMS x64

My trackir works with x86 exe but not x64. I’ve tried somethings but have had no luck. maybe I’m missing something simple ?

What model and driver of TiR are you using?
Also recheck setup in BMS/Settings/Controller/Advanced Options and check both Enable 3d Cockpit TrackIR and and Enable Vector are green.

Try running TrackIR as admin and see how that works.

Thanks for the replies. I’m running old Tir drivers 4.021 I recall. I have the Pro3 w/o vector. I’ve tried run as admin, no good. The green Tir box in the controllers-advanced UI won’t turn green.
I’m starting to think that my Tir software doesn’t recognize Falcon x64 is running because I’m not running the new x64 Tir drivers. Problem is, with out vector activated the new software won’t run the Tir in standard mode.
On a plus note, my Tir is damn near a decade old and now I have justification to upgrade.Falcon BMS still rocks in x84 anyway ! :headb:

Interesting. I’m using TIR3 pro, and I have no problem with BMS x64. I am running the latest TIR software, but I have vector expansion. Could be the difference needed. In that case, rather than buy a new TIR, why don’t you get the vector expansion? Apparently the IR pro clip isn’t very good; I’ve only used the original clip that goes on a cap so I can’t comment on the difference.

The build quality sucks on the pro clip and isn’t even worth its weight in sand.
On phone at the moment but there is a pro like clip made out of aluminium that is a fair bit sturdier. And cheaper to boot
But as the post above mentioned just update your drivers and that should fix your problem .

I think you are referring to DelanClip, +1 for it.

The standard vector clip with the reflective pads works perfectly fine for me, and requires no leads that you’ll forget are attached to you etc.

I thought about getting the vector clip but at this point I may as well upgrade. Eventually they’ll stop supporting the old hardware. Thank you, everyone. Getting help from around the world, too cool. I’ve been at this sim since 2000 and the community still amazes me.

You can create your own also if u can do simple things with electronics. It’ll be way cheaper.
