Game crashed when I alt-tabbed out. Now it won't launch.

I had to reboot without ending the Falcon process because in Win 10, Task Manager isn’t always on top by default, so it was trapped behind the black BMS window. After rebooting, I hit launch and get the loading icon on the mouse pointer, then nothing. The BMS process appears in the task manager under “Background Processes”, but nothing happens. It does the same thing with 32 and 64 bit. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling using the setup executable. It appeared to uninstall then reinstall correctly. The game has been running fine the past couple of days, and ran fine up until the crash this morning. There are no crash logs in the current install, because the process isn’t crashing, it’s just not doing anything.
Specs: Windows 10, 6600k, GTX 1080, 32GB RAM

Open up task manager, select Processes tab, then close falcon bms that way. Your system still thinks it is open.

Thanks, but I had already tried that. After ending the process and starting the launcher, then hitting Launch in the launcher menu would start the process again but it wouldn’t actually do anything.
I seem to have fixed it by uninstalling again, rebooting, reinstalling, rebooting and then running it.

Rare but happens.
Happened to me back in 4.33 when I was committing to online , crashed right before taxi with blue screen , restarted , didn’t work anymore. Nothing else helped then full reinstall.
I was sorry that I didn’t have clean install somewhere back then to compare the files try to pinpoint what messes up in this case. Best guess some of the Config files corrupts… who knows.
Cheers
