TrackIR 4/5 BMS Profile by Yassy

Hi Morpheus
Are you sure that you launch Track IR5 before BMS?
If you launch BMS and after Track IR 5 I am not sure that you could fill in form green controls.
As explained b_bong12
check in the BMS controller settings that the option enable track ir vector is checked with Z axis control(for zoom in cockpit only) or FOV(for zoom of fov)
Order is
Track IR5
MFD for example if you have several screens

and after BMS.Regards from France

Got it working fine thanks for all the help.

A small heads-up. My profile is now also downloadable from my website: www.yassyhq.com (Navigate to the ‘Air’ section using the menu on the top right of the page.)
-
It is almost the official profile in my VFW. Thank you!
-
Thanks !
-
Love the profile.

A little bump.

little bump once in a while

Just as a heads up as I get this question often:
TrackIR software doesn’t look into its root ‘Profiles’ folder anymore. New profiles should be copied to your Windows harddrive in: \Users<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\ProfilesSee Original Post in this thread for updated link with new readme.</yourname>

Hi Yassy,
many thanks for the help and your greatful profile. -
Yassy I just wanted to say I was about to return TrackIR5 as I wasn’t having any luck configuring it. Then I tried your profile and it has become my favorite peripheral. It is rock solid now and completely changed the Falcon experience. After I adjusted your speed suggestion from 1.5 to 1 it got even better for me. It’s a real joy because its so smooth that after an hour I realized I was no longer conscious of it. I was just looking around as if I was in an actual cockpit. That’s simming as it should be. Congratz!

Thanks for your kind words!
I have a huge 43" monitor since a few months and because TIR stands on the top left side I needed to alter the right side panning to be more sensitive, so my graph isnt mirrored anymore for the Yaw axis.
My benchmark is to have nearly twisted the in-game view 180 degrees the moment I have reached my comfortable left or right-looking position with my head.
Over time I gravitate towards even more sensitivity to not have to move my head so far left or right.
Also, when you feel like TIR drops it detection off suddenly when looking down (very much dependany on monitor size and Pitch axis sensitivity) you probably need to look down too far to glance at the lower parts of the cockpit. Increase sensitivity on the downward part of the graph on the Pitch axis in this case.
Happy flying and check six!

Hi,
Mr Yassy ,would you please re post your BMS TIR 5 profile. It seems the link you provided (dropbox) is dead.
Thank you in advance,
Hamilton

Sorry for the inconvenience! Probably due to Dropbox’s public folder policy change.
I’ll fix a link for you in the next hour or so. -
Temporary link here:

@Yassy,I’ve downloaded your profile but haven’t tried it yet…I would like to know where you place the camera ? Like you I have a big monitor (47") and am limited to near center to right (looking at monitor)…TIR 5,Using hat clip…
Thank you,

Hi dfang,
I have my TIR camera place on the center/left side on top of the monitor (when looking at the monitor), but I have also used it clamped to the left side of the monitor and turning the settings 90 degrees to keep proper tracking.
Both work fine. -
