Thrustmaster T16000 FCS

You can try THIS. It’s a T.A.R.G.E.T script plus FalconBM keyfile. If you have TARGET installed you should start its script editor load FalconBMS.tmc and click start. In falcon load the provided keyfile and then test the buttons on joystick. In Falcon you should only set the axis.

I’m using TM FCS too and when i try to do anything with TARGET, the stick just refuses to work. After using the script above, it turns out the ministick on the throttle is stealing the axes, something weird is bound to the hats (one of them just closes windows). I’ve tried reinstalling TARGET, plugging the stick in another usb port, still the same. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Incorrect axis assignments could be as simple as ensuring assignments are correct in BMS UI Setup\Controllers\Advanced. Also check device numbering in DeviceSorting.txt in User\Config.

In “the first post at the end” there’s a workaround to your problem. But it invovles a registry editing.
Basicly you need to find a registry of your device and change “EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled” under “Device Parameters” to “0” (zero). Restart and it should work with target afterwards. Some pics :Finding device IDs
And correct subIDSearch them in registry. And then change the above mentioned key!

Thanks man, that worked. Funny how i couldn’t find this post on my own. The stick worked well without TARGET, so I decided to not bother after a few searches.

Is there a master on and master off I could assign one of my joystick buttons. I want to be able to fire missles ofr swith to guns from the joystick.
Thank you

The fastest way is to switch to the “dogfight mode” … “d” on the keyboard. You can try the T.A.R.G.E.T. script for the T16000FCS I’ve created. There’s an updated link in the post #5. ?ve included a pdf file for reference of the joystick bindings and installation instructions. You get into dogfight mode by pressing button #4 on the TWCS Throttle. Holding the button for a moment longer cancels the dogfight mode. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the tip but I ordered my T-1600M FCS without the add on throttle control. I just have the joystick. Any tips please?
Thank you

Are you using TrackIR or similar?
-
I have the 16000M. I don’t am really new to flight sims. I do have friends that know what’s going on, but they have other sticks. Anyway, I just use the keyfile editor to program the sitck. I do not use TARGET at all. The editor is fairly easy to use via spreadsheet. I use the generic tab to program all of the buttons on the stick. It will output it into a keyfile or allow use to manually generate it yourself via copy/paste.

With DX assignment you can have only one shifted state, with TARGET you can have two shifted plus I/O mode plus you can use TEMPO function which means if you press a button it does one thing…eg. raise landing gear and if you hold it for a little longer it can perform another action. So you can basically have a button with 12 different functions. The only problem is that GUI settings kinda sucks… so you have to use the script editor…

Thanks for sharing your profile,
I use the thrust master rudder, and would like to mod it so i can use it, any tips? since it’s a script i can’t do anything… -
I have tried using sbelcl 's provided instructions on this, but only half the buttons work. Anyone have any idea or an updated keyfile? It seems the key settings in BMS don’t line up with what the script has. For example the script has 1st TriggerDetent as CTRL /, but in BMS with the keyfile loaded it is CTRL M.
-
Was able to get it to work by just not loading the .key file and using BMS defaults. Think I’ve got it figured out, thanks for providing the script sbelcl!

Thanks very much for your help sbecl!! I am using a version of your script and really like the idea of using the TBTN2 and TBTN3 as shift keys for new layers. I am starting to become familiar with the macros and like the freedom to use a single button for many different tasks. The problem I am having now is that TBTN2 is interpreted by BMS as “button 2” which fires my missles. Do you know a workaround for this?

Can someone tell me exactly how and which axis should i configure in the game?

Hi sbelcl,
First off - thanks for putting together your script and the instructions!
I’m trying to get this running on my setup as I just got the T16000M FCS. I can get your script loaded and see the following:
Running script: C:\Users\xxxxx\Downloads\T16000FCS\FalconBMS.tmc.tmc
Mapped plugin module “C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\Plugins\sys.dll”
Compile Succeeded.
Physical USB HID devices managed by script!
Currently plugged USB HID devices[2]:
1: “T.16000M” - “USB\VID_044F&PID_B10A&REV_0500”
2: “TWCS Throttle” - “USB\VID_044F&PID_B687&REV_0110”
Installing filter driver to VID_044F&PID_B10A. Please Wait…Done!
USB HID device “T.16000M”(USB\VID_044F&PID_B10A\5&13A74B18&0&9) selected
Installing filter driver to VID_044F&PID_B687. Please Wait…Done!
USB HID device “TWCS Throttle”(USB\VID_044F&PID_B687\5&13A74B18&0&10) selected
Virtual HID devices managed by script!
Connecting virtual joystick…Done
Device name set to Thrustmaster Combined
Connecting virtual keyboard…Done
Connecting virtual mouse (absolute axes)…Donemain returned 0
Once I get BMS running, I load the keyfile, but from the controller dropdown I am only seeing Keyboard and Thrustmaster Virtual Game Controller (root). I THINK I should still be seeing the Throttle and Stick on there to configure? Otherwise I have no dropdown options to actually configure my axis or anything.
Any help is appreciated!

Hy there. Haven’t been around lately. Curently I don’t have FalconBMS installed, but as I recall You just have to select (root) device and then all the axis setting should be available for configuring.
