Thrustmaster ELITE Rudder Pedals no Toe Brakes?
-
Hi guys, i have bought a Thrustmaster ELITE Rudder Pedals. I’ve noticed that the device has no Toe Brakes function, simply pedals are fixed. Infact in Cougar Control Panel Toe brakes axis are not seen by Windows. Is it true? (This rudder pedals has no toe brakes func.).

One DX device only can handle 8 axes at most.
HOTAS COUGAR stick+throttle+elite should be recognized as one device if they were connected each other.
Stick+Throttle already has 7 axes, Pitch, Roll, Throttle, Cursor-X, Cursor-Y, Range knob, Radar Antenna, so there is only one axis remaining.
I am not sure if ELITE rudder pedals have potentiometers for toe brakes as I don’t own it, but if they have you may have to disable another 2 axes to enable them.If you would like to use all 10 axes you may have to buy TUSBA for throttle, or RUSBA for ELITE rudder pedals so that either device can be recognized as 2nd or later device.

Ahhh! That answers a question i’ve always wondered about…why I couldn’t egt all 9 axis on my CH Products (stick, throttle, pedals) working at the same time!!!
Never knew that!
Cheers

That’s correct - very, very old technology.
