all the new Phantoms should be double checked as far as this control issue.
the navy,marine B/N/J/S should have hooks and folding wings working, but apparently some dont
and see if you have some loss of control issue like Mike experienced , my little test did not produce total loss of control but I may have had different circumstances than he.
we have a couple weeks before Tony is ready to look at this and next update is still WIP , so yes lets check out the phantoms they are very nice models and should work nicely as well.

keep in mind the F-4S has not been upgraded - - I just completed the DXM conversion and it is ready to be added so maybe for V2. RF-4 is still Work-in-Progress.

Hey guys, awesome to see the F-4J’s in the theater. I’m glad all those skins are getting a workout…nice to see Trip Trey in the lineup again!
I’ve been having some trouble flying the Phantom, though. In particular, for example, if you get the jet up to about 13,000 feet or so, 400 knots, and then push those nose straight over, it will get to about 20 degrees nose down and then pop right back up. G-limiter? Or flight model bug?
In fact, I’d really appreciate it if a couple of you guys could take the jet up and just push it around the sky a bit and see what you think. There are definitely some quirks. I don’t want to say bugs, because for all I know it’s how the jet is supposed to fly.What even brought this up was a flight I just had a few minutes ago. I was flying along, minding my own business when something took a shot at me. I nosed over to get some speed and get down a bit, got the jet to about 550 knots and maybe 45 degrees nose down, and then it just became plain unresponsive to control inputs and I ended up lawn darting. I’ve been trying to replicate it…maybe I got hit…it didn’t seem like it, but the plane just wouldn’t fly anymore.

One last thing, is there a cockpit switch to unfold the Phantom’s wing tips?
Sorry, neither I can recall now ‘where’, and ‘if’ most of all, that switch might be located, and if it’s functional… I’m afraid that the answer is probably ‘not’, so you will be obliged to use the dedicated combined keys function on your keyboard, instead, as per Starrats’ wise advise.
Hope I’m wrong. But anyway, on my little own side I’ll check once again and I’ll let you known further in either case.With best regards,

I would ask you now if do you have some TE ready to be flown.
I’ve tried to make one from scratch, but I never succeeded in T/O from the carrier… it’s a known issue, I know, but I can’t recall ‘here and now’ how to solve it.
So, please help me in that, you sure can! Could address me about how to get rid of this?Thanks a lot in advance, e stammi bene, bellezza

no problem Gianni. i will make some carrier TEs and have new F4s on board. after TE is setup it is easy to swap out AC with MC if needed. i will post them here saturday. Cheers. Ned

I saw that all wings fold on these new models except S which is wip.I will make a how to a bit later.
IN this video, if you can make it to the end , It seems the FM we are using is quite easier to fly than original BMS ISRAELI F4

that strange behavior referred by Toonces is true and can happen at altitudes variable from 13 angels to 20 and at speed above 400 kts., when diving between 15° and 20°.

here’s an update: after all yesterday’s flights, it occurs 1) on each version (B/N/J/S, I mean), and 2) at any reasonable altitude and speed, except for those lowest of course.
But there are good news at the same time.

I think we might need a different pylon set up. will look into it and hand that work to Tony.
I flew the F4 B,J,N,and S . The vid shows the only fails i could reproduce is High loss of control and speed in hard banking turns. and then i tried Israeli F4 and saw massive loss of speed on hard turns Toonces complete failure was never achieved by me . but It seems Jackal got it. Im testing off of V2 test db.
and the others had V1. -

I have found this is old bug . . but sometimes by deleting all hardpoints and then running again, then gong back and re-adding hardpoints this can clear up . . . but I am still learning about this tricky bug. Since I still use F4Browse and BMS Editor I may be complicating this problem . . . more testing is needed in this area to find permanent fix for this bug.

Disregard. In 3d fuselage pylons are not shown, only appear in loadout UI.
. I added tgp with falcon edit. then mimic f4 setup with fm loadout section. middle is “nopylon left” and surounding 4 are “recessed aim”. now it looks good in loadout and 3d. i will get changes to Ranger before v2.
