BFM - By the Numbers
-
I’ve been getting smoked repeatedly by some very fine pilots over at Falcon Online, so I wanted to run the numbers and get some feedback.
I think I got lucky on this one with the enemy having a clear energy advantage towards the end there, but I’m always learning. As always tips and suggestions are welcome!

Wait a minute….
Zordon are you getting smoked repeatedly by some very fine pilots over at Falcon Online? I thought you completed Creepers TOP GUN training!!8). JK! I know the feeling bro’. I’ve been flying for years online and still get hammered. Keep going up. I think you did well with getting turning room and keeping your speed within performance parameters. I struggle with that at times myself. One thing the KV taught me was to be more patient with my shots ( I still suck at longer range shot selection with guns!). -
try to figure out the speeds for best turn rate and smaller turn radius. they are hidden in -1 somewhere

JOKE for the physicists among you (brainer):
“energy” is the thrive (inertia, acceleration) in nature of reaching (force, motion) equilibrium between imbalances… the cycle between the “kinetic” and “potential” states is the principle of continium and the elimination and creation process between non-physical (fields) and physical states (matter)
as farfetched analogy … and in terms of BFM… there is also a flow of variables… which both are bond to:
kinetic energy (speed)
potential energy (altitude)
turn-rate
turning-room (distance)
turn-radius
“angles” (aspect, angle-off)
G-forces (physical limits)
AoA (drag)
etc…both players hold the same cards (variables) to play with … and “exchange” the variables in a contiuous flow and relatively… till one ulitmatively plays them better.
