KEYSPEECH PROFILES- FOR ALL CALLSIGNS!!!!
-
For some reason team speak doesnt seem to hear me, even though the mic does work. In the past I would try the voice command tester, and I would hear back what I said, but now I’m getting nothing. I have tried checking and unchecking the box for listen always. So I’m not sure what to do.

Thanks for the heads up.
I’ll wait for the next release of the profiles,(probably when a new version of KS is released) to fix it.It is very tedious to correct small mistakes, because I have to create all the callsign profiles again.
I looked into a way to create all the callsign profiles automatically from the matter profiles, but my programming skills are somewhat limited.
Last thing i knew about Keyspeech development is that the dev was studying the possibility of implementing some kind of synonym that would make these little corrections much easier, because there would be only one profile for all the callsigns, instead of one for each callsign.

Couldn’t you just open it with notepad, edit>replace, and replace all instances of one callsign with another automatically? I’m gonna check if Notepad supports command line parameters; if it does for this particular function you could make a batch file to automatically generate all callsign files. If not, I could hack togeather a small c++ program that would dumb-scan throgugh a document to do this, save it, repeat for all callsigns.
By the way, could you upload it somewhere else next time? That is literally a hosting site from hell
EDIT: OK, the program does not work for me on Windows 10, same problem as the poster above, it does not react to speech commands. Additionally it throws an error when trying to enable “listen always”. I tried writing to the author but the form is broken and throws an error when trying to send the message (lol). Scotters, how did you manage to make it work originally? When did it break? Maybe Microsoft released some update that broke it.

Hi Guy´s
im struggling with the download of the Profile. http://uploaded.net/file/6u682p19
Is there an alternate link available ? -
Tried to by a Keyspeech licence today.
But i can not go any further than to the Paypal login screen.
The ony thing i can do there is login to my Paypal account. No further information about keyspeech there.
Maybe something is broken ?

Changing the Master Profile is not big deal. The problem is generating the files for all the callsigns, that is very, very tedious.
I tried to import the xml to exel and try to create a Visual Basic macro to generate all the callsign files, but I could not make it work.
So I keep a list with the minor changes and bugs and I will wait for a major change before generating all the callsign files.
I would appreciate very much if you could find a way to automatically generate all the profile files from the master one and a list of callsigns.
The process I follow to create a callsign file from the STD is the following: (example for avenger-11)
IT IS IMPORTANT TO USE THE “MATCH THE WHOLE WORD” option of the replace command, otherwise the callsign file is not created correctly:
- find and replace “flight-callsign” with “avengers”
- find and replace “callsign-flight” with “avenger flight”
- find and replace “callsign” with “avenger one one”
- save file as “Avenger 11”
and so on for all the callsigns and the numerals 11-14 … 91-94 for each callsign
if you find a way to do that automatically, I could correct the bugs and make modifications to the profiles more often.

@ jcenzano One question.
in your profile (_BMS_433_chipi_V3.0 GERMAN keyboard-KEYSPEECH-COMMS only.xml) , some commands are beginning with SHFT ESC and some are not.
Whats the sense behind it ? -

Whats the sense behind it ?The shift ESC thing is an inherited thing from the profiles in which I based mine in the very beginning.
I think it was there to somehow “reset” the key strokes that the voice command program is sending to bms.
Let’s say that you want to send the W-1 command, but for whatever reason you had typed a single W with your keyboard before sending the voice commanded keystroke.
If you send the command without the shift ESC, you would get the W W 1 typed.
With shift ESC, it was supposed to clear any previous key strokes so you would get only the proper W 1 sent by the voice program.Anyway IIRC that comes from the shoot days and even possibly from the falcon AF.
I don’t know whether it’s effective or even it causes any undesirable effect.
Botommline, my memory is crap.
