How set 5040x1050
-
Any have idea how set the resolution at 5040x1050, only see in game 5760x1080.
I have TH2G and 3 monitors of 1650x1050.Thx.

Also interested in this one. Triplehead2go maximum size in game is 3840x1024. But in other games (and desktop) I can have 5010x1024
-
I hope it is something simple like putting an extra line in a config file somewhere.
-
I can’t find anything that resembles any resolution for the sim in the files. Any ideas, anyone?

Scooter,
You set the resolution in game via the graphics settings. Once you have that set you need to adjust the FOV settings in the falcon-bms.cfg file. You find that under your BMS install directory in the Users/Config directory. Find default fov and max fov lines and increase them from their default of 80. I use 165 for my setup and it works great (46" TV Screen set at 55 angles.)

Thank you. I did fix the FOV settings, AWESOME! I have my TH2G normally set at 5040x1050. I am running at 5760x1080 right now for BMS but the 5040x1050 is not in the UI settings. Kind of weird. With the lower res I get no stuttering at all. BMS is running fine with the higher res and I am getting an FPS range in the 30s and 40s mostly. I want to set it and forget it at 5040x1050 so I do not have to keep switching back and forth. I have my HELIOS profile working and I was shocked that it worked. The interface is not listed but hey it works under the FF interface!

scooternutz, can you see the rigth panel? or the left panel, i can’t see the switches of lights and any both panel, i can see only front panel. My FOV is 135 but i have same error. If you solved this plz tell me.

I hope you folks do know, that the higer the resolution, the more your GPU needs to work, so the more chances of stuttering? Lower resolution equals more fps.

Will there be a solution for this “issue” someday or is there any technical DirectX background that 5040x1050 never can be chosen in future?
i don´t think to have performance problems because of running DCS-A10C with the same resolution and approx. 50fps and there is much more to “do” for GPU.Greetings

KraftschlagMe too, some issue there. I have Nvidia 560 TI @ TH2G @ 3 x 1680 x 1050 and I can play 5040x1050 on DCS-10, DCS- Black shark, MW3 etc. but 5040x1050 is not available in the F4_BMS4.3 UI I think the issue is how BMS program is detecting the Display capability I hope this could be tweaked in any .CFG file or the register ¿Any help?

FYI 3 x 1650 is 4950 and you are trying to display 5040 are you trying to get bezel correction? and if you are getting 5760 that confuses me somewhat!
Have you tried Softth? what card are you running I am guessing Nvidia?
If you are running nvidia I believe that it is harder to get multiscreen setup working then ATI I have run 5 screens on my 6970HD with no issue’s. That being said I am no expert in TH2GO. -
Have you set the resolution to 5040x1050 on the desktop (settings) first? Then launch game and see if it is an option.

Doesn’t works, this issue is not depends of a or b configuration, I have seen this issue in another games. Some ones detect You max resolution and another ones don’t do.

conten of file:
!!! It works !!!
Just rename the attached file from dx9display.txt to dx9display.dsp and replace your dsp file in \user\config\
Don´t select display resoltion in your falcon UI it will show 640x480 or similar, don´t worry, just replace your dx9display.dsp and play the game at 5040x1050 it rocks!!!

Thanks Wichow!!!
