Fist ever campaing mision succes.

I’m pretty new here in flying falcon BMS. But today i started an isrealic campaing with an addes Begliums squadron in it.
I took my F-16 A MLU to the sky’s to perform a bai mission in a Three ship light.
I lack much experience so i took position three. In the end i destoyed 4 ground targets in the form of 2 btr’s and 2 Sa7’s and returned home safley.
My wingmans both ejected. altough this event the mission was a succes :)… I can say for the first campaing mission i’m pretty happy with it. -
I still use labels by the way. because i play on my laptop and can’t really visially SEE the other participants in this campaing if they are far away.
i don’t know what is actually the best way to learn wich are the opposite forces (enemy’s) and wiche are friendly. this is stil hard for me to determin.
Also sorry for my grammar. i am not an native engish persone and try to do my best to write things down here.
cheers -
Use AWACS….on your Left MFD you will see little white dots, use TMS up to lock one, And then hit Q then 2 and if AWACS is available, it will tell you if Friend or Foe

good on you man. it feels great when landing home after a sucssesful mission.
I can tell the falcon hook is sinking in, you will have a ton of fun learning this beast.godspeed and tail winds

For starters it’s good to have labels on.
Soon turn it off.
Briefing and good mission preparation and good DTC preparation are a must.
U must know almost by heart what is the situation for known threads on the area u r to fly.
With DTC u can have the circle of engagement of anti aircraft installations.
U can avoid them side ways or up ways.Use wdp extensively. And read the area.
This will help your SA ( situation awareness ) greatly.
Add a line or boxes in DTC to help you identify areas.
Then comes debriefing.
Always record acmi and observe later on.
In SP debriefing ain’t that helpful cause in MP the other members must tell u in the face what you did wrong. The great key for lessons learned and self improvement.
Some take it personal some times… Immatures.
We usually skip debriefing, the biggest mistake!Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk

It shure is a big monster when u start to get in it for the more realistick flying. but i really enjoy it. i’m having a blast trying not to be killed hahahah I can use al the tips i can get here and i will do something with it also. i’m of to my laptop now to learn about how to set the dtc up proprer before the mission’s. Thanks for te great words also. i like it here. it is such a friendly community.
Keep that up for shure.

Congrats on your achievement, well done!
Sometimes locking up a target is enough, if it’s a friendly they’ll usually respond with a “buddy spike” call.
If you don’t have AWACS available and you’re commanding a flight, you can also tell you your wingmen to “attack my target” after locking up and they’ll refuse to execute the order if this would result in a blue on blue situation.
All the best, Uwe

i did it that way last night. that is indeed an effective method to sort friend or foo. Is this also the case for ground targets. i knwo if i lock a ground target on the FCR that i awacs also tell’s you it friendly or not. i should try that also i’m still trying to understand the DTC in cooperation with the hsd. (threat rings) and to get my wingmans symbol on them. but i have fun writing it all down so i can remember it beter :). Thanks for the nice responds here i can use al the info u guys give me. Thank you very much.

Or is it so created for the rings to apear that an awacs airplane have to upload them to my jet via the datalink system?
-
Never mind i found out that i need to add them myself on the map with the precision steerpoint feature. i have to look wich kind of anti air weapon there is in the area and select it in the list then it will be added on the hsd when i load my cartridge in.
Amazing

Today i putted in use in an campaing mission what i learnt earlier this week. i marked dangerous zones on the map so that i could benefit from it on the HSD in the cockpit.
Also i did put labels off, to see how faar i would get without them. with the two things i learnet i was able to find my wingie’s back on the HSD and i stayed out of trouble completed my sweep mission and could return to base.It is very cool when u can put to use wat you learnt earlier.
