Falcon only showing up on one monitor….
-
After much effort through trial and error, I’m still unable to get BMS to span across all three screens. I’m confident that it is a simple matter to alleviate my dilemma. I’ve tried the suggestions given but there is no joy. I do understand that the UI screen is set for one resolution. I’ve tried in Instant Action as well as Campaign mode…no joy.
It took me a couple of hours to figure out how to do a screen capture in Windows 10, so I can post screens of my Nvidia Control Panel. I present the following screens for viewing.
Perhaps these will help give insight to my lack of knowledge in this matter.

What options do you have in the setup screen of the sim? (like shown in the selection on page 34 of the BMS-Manual.pdf, located in \Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Docs\Falcon BMS Manuals)

Looks correct. If it’s not doing what you want then what is it doing?
Is it replicating 1920x1080 on each screen, only one screen? Other screens black? Other screens desktop? Any indication of windowing? Is alt-tab slow with black flicker or instant?
All I can think is maybe some automatic nVidia game profile is recognizing Falcon and overriding?

BMS only appears in the center screen. Other two screens remain black. Not slow, game loads fast.

If u disable display surround?
Also which drivers? U might need to uninstall and use older drivers.
Which windows we said u r?Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk

If I disable surround, I have only one screen.
Current driver is 398.82
I have Windows 10…if that is what your asking. -
Sorry my card is old and doesn’t support surround.
But if u disable surround u will still should have 3 monitors as I do.
U extend to the other monitors.
I use softh which actually must be like surround.
Have you disabled full screen optimization?
Have you tried older drivers with clean install?Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk

While fullscreen should absolutely work you might find that windowed mode works and is just as good. I would try windowed.
Also, another idea: Are any files in your \user\config directory write protected? Is dx9display.dsp? Perhaps deleting dx9display.dsp and allowing Falcon to re-make it will reset things.

This sounds stupid, but have you gone into display settings in Win10 and made all your other two monitors be in extended mode? I have a gtx1060 and the same three Asus monitors you have and have had windows not allow them to be detected even when configured in the Nvidia Control Panel as one screen in surround. Also, in game setup, graphics you should be able to select a higher quality level then “0” which seems to give me a better outside view.

Just a long shot, but it might be related to the Win10/resolution bug that’s going around. If the resolution is not switching BMS will obviously not display on three monitors. Just a thought ……
