Cockpit lod number in lod editor question
-
hello I cant find the cockpit lod numbers in lod editor where are they at? its for the f-15c
-
The cockpit info is in art/ckptart
The pit may be designated by plane name OR plane parent number.
If there is no f15 in ckptart folder, find the parent number for f15c in lodedit.
That parent number will be the folder to look into in ckptart.
In that folder is a couple files. cockpit file has a line a few paragraphs in that says cockpit “parent number”
Type that parent number into lodedit , and open it. There is your cockpit lod

hello sorry for the delay and this question where do I type the parent number in lod editor at?
Note that what Yubba posted is the parents for the aircraft models but also the cockpit folder names found in C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data\Art\ckptart there you will find some dat files. The file you need to “read” is usually 3dckpit.dat witch has the lod numbers for the cockpit, switches canopy etc under the line : // the LOD models to use. The first one is the cockpit lod u need. note that number and open LodEditor and the corresponding koreaObj file you want (in every theater is the same name). When LE is open and read the file you will see on the right side some buttons : Normal,Repaired etc… In the box next to normal type the number you noted and hit the button normal if you wanna edit it or 3dviewer (on the right side of the box to see it
Hope that helps
