Can’t seem to get mouselook to work
-
Hi all.
I’ve just installed 4.34, and can’t seem to get mouselook to work?
I’ve got enable external mouselook toggled in the advanced controller tab and it works outside, I just can’t seem to get it to work in the cockpit view. I’ve ensured I’m pressing 3 to make sure I’m in the virtual cockpit, but no joy. Many thanks in advance!

After you have pressed 3 and you are in the virtual cockpit, you have to hold down the right mouse button and then move the mouse.
-
… and ToggleClickablePitMode Key is Alt + 2 in default Keybinding (Mouselook)
-
I was aware of hi,ding down the right mouse button, I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating the clickable cockpit, still unable to pan around the pit…

Check BMS-Manual page 94 and see if there is anything there that might explain your issue.
If not, can you tell us what hardware/software you are using and perhaps copy paste (in CODE tags - use the # button in the Advanced Editor) your falcon bms.cfg file.
-
You are right clicking while panning right ?

I’m away with work now. As soon as I get back I’ll post my configuration and system specs.

Do you have FreeTrack installed on your PC?

I can confirm that freetrack/opentrack interferes with mouselook as well the POV/HAT switch. I deleted opentrack and everything works as supposed….

This is most likely the problem…
when I get back I’ll try uninstalling it. -
I can confirm that deleting the OpenTrack folder (or just moving it to the Recycle Bin) unlocks view panning in the 3D cockpit (by mouse or POV hat). This is very disconcerting as I absolutely did not have Opentrack running when testing 4.34. It was just physically present in a very different folder.
So now the magical question: At whom do I need to point my “stop interfering with other programs” finger?
**- Edit:
Renaming the Opentrack folder to something like “Opentrack_2.3.11” makes cockpit mouselook work again.**
