Saitek X-52 Profile
-
Hello KesMonkey, I’m a newbie to the flight sim genre and am having the exact same problem as Phlux. I have the same rudder pedals and every time they are plugged in my x52 stops working.
Thank You and any help is greatly appreciated, Ben

Hi everyone, I’d really like to thank the OP for posting this great profile. I’m a curious DCS A-10 pilot that wants to get his feet wet flying a Viper. Unfortunately I don’t have much simming experience besides A-10 so I feel a little behind the curve on setting up profiles and whatnot in BMS.
I loaded up the Notrack profile in BMS but none of the POV buttons were actually assigned to my hat! I browsed through the key listing and found snap views (look up, look down, etc.) and assigned them manually. I guess I sorta expected them to be panning buttons instead of “snap views”. Can anyone just clarify that I’ve done this correctly or am I missing some kind of panning command with my POV hat?
Thanks a lot.

Hello. This is great profile! Nice work in all. My question is that everything is up and running, but the radar range increase and radar range decrease, Ctrl F4 and Ctrl F3 respectively. It is already mapped and I can see it activated on the control panel. In the 3D world it doesn’t work….nothing happens. Can you help me please, I like this profile. Also, what is the best cursor setting in Saitek software. Mine is too fast. Thank you very much.

Nice job on this KesMonkey. I really like this “real” HOTAS profile now that I’m used to it.
One thing I would like to change, but dont know how to. I’m really at lost when editing the key file with all the numbers for the buttons.
I would like to change the “radar-standby” button on the throttle to “padlock next air target”. Even tho I’m using TRIR, I find it difficult to find the enemy in a dogfight situation.
Would appreciate it if you could tell me what to edit and how to do it?
Thanks

Anyone? Please I need help with the keyfile
thanks

Anyone worked out how to get the Enable custom axis shaping" to work in the UI. I’d like to continue with my own X52 profile and old drivers for a while, but the stick sensitivity just makes it virtually unflyable in BMS…

Hey, thanks for your work on this profile.
Just wondering if I could get some help as I’m brand new to F4 and BMS but have a lot of experience with other sims (namely DCS A-10).
I’m trying to start learning all the F-16s systems etc and thought that the smart thing to do would be to get myself a decent profile first. I’m most likely being really dumb here but I can’t see anywhere on the profile the ‘target designate’ button or anything to lock up air to air targets on the FCR. I checked the images provided and also in the sim’s settings there is nothing selected next to this option.
Any help is much appreciated.
Sincerely
Someone who definitely is a long way from his F-16 type rating.EDIT
Recently figured what the HOTAS TMS functions achieve so have now realised the error of my ways! -

Just wanted to say thanks for this profile. Been using it for several weeks now and it works very well.

Gonna download this and give it a go. Looks pretty good though. Couple quick questions…
1. I have always used a stick button mapped to L (look closer) which allows me to quickly zoom in with my trackIR. Does the slider on the throttle mimic this?
2. The VHF/UHF on the throttle hat. Are these mapped to ALT 1 and ALT2? i.e for use with IVC?
3. What does the HOTAS cursor enable do? I need a PTT button for teamspeak really so wonder if I could use this as well?
4. Could I get an editable copy of the stick and throttle images so I can make my changes and print it?Thanks

How to do for that the “Wheel mouse button 2” for Scrolling works like the actual mouse (FoV control)
I’d like to swap the functions of the scrolling button of the mouse and the one on the throttle (FoV control on the throttle & Radar Gain on the mouse)Any help ? please

Good Day Kes… Found your profile very helpful and working as advertised … Found my slider switch on the throttle a little finicky so disabled field of view/zoom. A hardware issue and not anything to do with your setup. … A little off BMS topic here, you wouldn’t happen to have a x52 profile for FC2 that is remotely similar to the BMS falcon? IE. TMS switch be the same in the F-15 and A-10? Made an quasi attempt at doing it. Ie can’t map the radar cursor as the FC2 treats the throttle mini blue stick like a mouse cursor. THanks a plenty…

Hello KesMonkey
I just did like you describe and first time it was great but after that I have problems in BMS even in Free Falcon watch the video ……Radar cursor just move around like a crazy and sometimes is to control with mouse stick on the left side but sometimes not? Any Idea? I have windows 7 64 bit
Tnx

Hello where is download link for profile?
That’s it. Don’t forget that you’ll always need to load your Saitek profile before starting Falcon BMS.
