Breathing

Maybe a silly question: is it possible to adjust only breathing volume in some way? Lowering that at good level ( for me) force to having to much low cockpit volume.
Many thanks

Hello Gancio,
I had the same issue, as I don’t like the “loud” breathing.
You can easily change the volume according your choice with a programm like “Audacity”.
Hope this helps.
Edit: Alternatively you might use the breathing from the Balkans Theater. That’s not that loud if I can recall it correctly.
Greetz,

Many thanks for replying Tweety. I’ve already using Balkans. Can You please elaborate on “Audacity”? Have You already test it with breathing? I don’t use pilot breathing before, but now with last version it ( the breath ) is became necessary. The alternative would be to deactivate the breathing sound from listening within sim configuration…
Thanks

GI think he is suggesting editing the relative audio file with Audacity ( a free audio file manipulation software ) to reduce the volume on that specific sound only.

Yes, I immagine something like that, I believe this thing is beyond my abilities. Anyway tomorrow I will be at home and search Audacity. I will try to understand something.
Thanks for answer

Hi Gancio,
I use a sound mod called “JoNays Breathing sound mod”, the level is lower than the default one. I found it on Falcon online. Seems to work well with 4.34.Z

A better solution might be edit the soundtable. This would allow you to alter volumes without dicking around with the original sound sample. I would elaborate but currently on holidays until the weekend, will post more on return home.

Many thanks Malc, don’t play with original files it’s preferable especially for the old fart like me. Anyway, problem solved ( original files saved)

Allow me
Increase the negative numbers indicated until you achieve a volume level you are happy with. You can lower the volume of the ECS in the same way (I use -2500 instead of the default -1800 for example).
