Maybe a stupid question….

Strongly considering to reenter the BMS universe (havent flown for 8 years)
Now the question: Will my Logi/Saitek Pro rudderpedals work with my Cougars (wich I haven’t unpacked yet)
Rgds -
Should be fine as they have their own USB plug, so will not use any of the Cougar axes.
I know of other people who have used Saitek rudders with Cougars with no issues.

Great, tnx Darkman, I’ll give it a spin and see how much I can remember about Cougar programming after all these years…
Hopefully it clicks in again, since I was very active in Cougaring in the old days, together with James Hallows among some.
Fact is I even translated the entire Cougar manual fm English to Norwegian, for which I earned a complete Cougar set, with a veery low serialnumber :-). Stay tuned… -

No need to program your Cougar, check out your \Falcon BMS 4.34\Docs\01 Input Devices\03 HOTAS Setup\TM Cougar (Dunc_DX) folder, it’s already done for you.
You can also have a look at the HOTAS Cougar chapter of the BMS Device Setup Guide one folder level up.
Once you’re up and flying, if you decide you want to modify anything, then the BMS-Technical-Manual in the \Falcon BMS 4.34\Docs folder will help you understand how the keyfile is structured.
Of course you can still use Foxy to program in keystrokes if you want, but DirectX is used in preference in the supplied setup.

Indeed, and the more you leave it stock, the less you have to meddle if a new update comes out.
All least, that’s how I survived…
