@SkyKnight:
Thanks Tyrspawn, learning heaps very helpful information.
I’m taking it slow, also shopping for the right gear to fly, I need your advice on gear if I should buy TM Warthog or Saitek flight gear please what are your recommendations.
I saw that Logitech has a new bundle on market also but there cheap right.
Anyway thanks for all this help in learning to fly BMS4.32 its awesome.
Thanks again.
Can’t really help you because I have a bunch of cheap gear, my trackir excluded. I have a logitech extreme 3d pro. I have three friends who have the Warthog and they say it is the best stick they ever used, but the Thrustmaster Cougar is the classic f-16 stick.

Any chance of a tutorial for the best way to execute Search and Destroy night missions? Mainly if there as an easy way to use radar in conjunction with MK20’s in CCIP. Seems my wingmen are usually out of ammo by time I have figured out which group they are firing at…
There is a command in the flight/wingman comms to “datalink ground targets” - if you do that your wingmen will send you a cursor data of the target they are attacking. A yellow cursor will appear on the HSD/FCR indicating their targets.
Also in my air to ground tutorial, at the end I show how to do “search and destroy” - you basically want to go into GMT, in snowplow (SP) mode, find the targets using CCRP and then ideally switch to CCIP for a “one pass haul ass” attack.

love your videos man. I have watched everyone of them. Sometimes even twice. Just now saw that you had made a new one so i watched it. Actully never even thought of useing the HMCS and the Had to aquire targets that way.
Guess i will be doing seads more now lol. Keep up the good work.

Great ideas, just wondering if you could do a quick how to on how to react to missile fire, and some advise on what formations/tactics you like to use on OCA, deep strike,SEAD.
Also a run down on armanents, recommended load outs for each mission etc??Thanks in advance.

How to react to missile fire is not a short video - 500 page books have been written on that and i’m not really sure how to reduce it down to a short video. I guess I could just go over basic principles.
OCA video would be pretty simple.
Armaments would be easy, not sure how to present it though. Ill think about this stuff.

Hi guys,
I thought I would share a basic general view or things that I use
This site is very common and I use these techniques especially the Split S and head for the weeds for cover when sams have dedected me.
http://www.combataircraft.com/en/Tactics/Air-To-Air/
The actual titles if you click on them explain maneuver further.
I simply try to evade a missile its hard work I have been struck many times just damage but not killed, not funny.
Tyrspawn maybe just make a video demonstrating each maneuver, and give a little spiel on why and how.
Key is always set flares and chaff program on 2 and use it as you evade.
Also there’s heaps of pdf’s you can download like this link below gives you an idea of what to do instead of guessing I guess :-
http://www.demovfw.com/firstfighterwing/1stVFW/Fighter%20Combat-Tactics%20and%20Maneuvering.pdf
I have tried TE’s OCA strikes with diamond and arrow formation in Ai, I think from what I have read in missions flown in sorties it depends if you have say a few bombers etc they fly masking a 747 arrow type shape, just an article I was reading a while back.
Others maybe have more accurate knowledge just sharing what I have tried and read about.
From a noob, well that’s what I use its seems to work for me give it a go and report back, I guess with more on this discussion.

The following updated in the OP:
United Operations Airforce BMS Training Session 2012
This is a live course held for new people at my virtual squadron, it contains a watered down version of most of the above basic topics and is intended as a basic introduction to BMS for people who literally have 0 minutes of in-game experience.Cockpit Orientation, Navigation, and Formation Flying

Great Tutorials ….keep up the good work…!!!

Your Tutorials are excellent. Keep it up.
An idea for another one! In the Weapon Delivery Planner, there are Pre Planned Popups and Pre planned Toss selections. These have great flexibility in that, you can modify your approach to suit the terrain. Also, it produces a HUD symbology for your “cues”. Its a good feature……This may fit your Tutorial style!
Whilst WDP is not a part of BMS, it may as well be. It is such a thorough tool for planning, I doubt there are many who fly without it!:D
BTW, thanks for the PM re Virtual Squadrons. I am stuck in GMT zone so you guys have a lead on my position, like 6 to 8 hours;) Still looking for one!
Cheers.

Great once again - "as this has been said " hope you can take the joke - keep it up Buddy

I don’t know the name of the HOTAS function off the top of my head but it’s comm switch and then a direction - possibly comm switch right.
Default binding is right ctrl-p. Make sure you hold down ctrl first, then p, then release p, otherwise it won’t work.
-
comms switch left and comms switch right are the keystrokes.

Impressive tutorials, thx!
