Avast report Falcon_BMS_4.34_U1_Incremental as infected
-
Hi everybody,
I’ve tried to download this file by torrent and by the link.
Each time Avast antivirus block it says it is infected by Win32:Malware:gen.base, U2,U3,U4,U5 don’t generate this alarm and they are fine.
-
It’s a false positive. Avast and AVG have been reported here multiple times to report false positive.
The way around to get a working installation is to turn of avast already for the download

You can safely ignore any and all antivirus warnings about BMS setup, update and executable files.
The issue here is that each antivirus expects digital signatures for binaries and these ones don’t have it.
There is no malware or viruses in 4.33 , 4.34 and any of their updates. However, the addictive qualities of BMS 4.3x are very close to heavy drugs like heroin.

Now that is a true statement . . .

Get rid of this anti-virus… Along AVG, it’s a trash software… Heavy as hell to run and for a bad and ineffective protection…
If you can’t afford a good anti-virus, just use Windows Defender…If you want an excellent protection with low impact on performances at low price, you can use Eset NOD32.
Cheers
