check properties of your BMS shortcut on your desktop, -ef switch must be added to the command line, for example:
"X:..\Launcher.exe" -ef -window -nomovie

i did it….when i chose the old keystoke, CTRL+z, f is work. after change back to Kolbe’s it doesn’t work. I tried ALT+C, A to Z, all not work.

open your keystroke file via notepad and search for either of these:
OTWToggleEyeFly
or
“Sim-Eye Flye”it may be possible that the eyeflight callback might have been assigned to something else (iirc this combo was one of the hardcoded ones, but who knows…), if your search for any of the above yields any result then goto bms setup > controllers , try to find out the callback and the associated keystroke from there.

Hi sunny,
I don’t use the callback OTWToggleEyeFly in my key files.
You have to insert the code line into the file and apply keys manually.Regards

Hi,
copy this line to your key file:
OTWToggleEyeFly -1 0 0x12 0 0x2E 4 1 “OTWToggleEyeFly”
Key combo is:
ALT+C, E

Another question…
In Kolbe’s file, i can’t find chraff and fare…(maybe COUGAR has special feature on it, but i am not cougar user.)…
what should i add if i want to drop chraff and flare by pressing F8 key? Thanks!
-
I found the solution…hehe. Use BMS_Keystrokes_Ver_1_4_Full, i can map any key on it in game setting.
Thanks!:)

As someone new to both BMS and my HOTAS (CH), this thread has been invaluable for me! I haven’t even downloaded the files yet and I’ve learned so much. Speaking of, could someone check to see if the files are downloading? I clicked Kolbe’s link and I can get to the website fine, but the “Download” button doesn’t do anything. Might be just this PC acting up.

Just checked and downloaded the file: Everything OK.
Are you Using Firefox with addon “NoScript”? -
Thank for the job, I’m learning falcon those days and I’m still searching a keybord shortcut to change SOI via BMS switch (I have no cougar stick, just a simple aviator …)
-
Kolbe, can you update link?

Thank you for your hard work! And you’re fast!

Wow!! Brilliant!!! Just what I was looking for. Thanks!!!

thanks Kolbe – good job
right on time

I would like to say thanks to Kolbe for this idea!
I have now made a Helios profile which will hopefully allow me to interact with all the switches in the cockpit using the touchscreen instead of reaching for the mouse, and having to map all those switches and knobs means I will have to add more callbacks to my .key file. Having an organized .key file as Kolbe has shown makes it easy to find things in the .key file.
I am using Morphine’s profile for my TM Warthog and am therefore not “starting from scratch.” Can anyone tell me what’s the best way to go about re-organizing my current .key file into one that looks like Kolbe’s?? Do I have to go line-by-line searching for each callback, then copy-pasting from my .key file to the new (Kolbe-inspired) .key file?

can’t you copy it all in to excel, add a corresponding letter for each instrumentpanel in the next column, use the sort function to get all the functions sorted by panel and go from there? It’s a bit of work, but accurate and complete…
