Center switch to Cancel DF/MO modes…?

Using the AL to map my Throttle Middle thumb switch so that forward is DF Mode and Back is MRM Mode how do I get the center switch position to register as a Cancel ‘C’ command?
Thanks!

2 answers for that :
- if you only care about DFGT/MRM, there is a config option for it (Check in the launcher -> configuration tool).
- if you want that in general, check this thread :

Isn’t the config option only able to work if you HOLD and don’t release the mode?
Couldn’t find anything on: Search the technical manual or forums for “0x42”

I’ll try this but not sure how this is supposed to work?

Maybe you should review your search
overall explanaition in technical manual p 10-85Fifth part: DX button press / release event SimTriggerFirstDetent 0 -1 -2 0 0x0 0 SimTriggerFirstDetent 0 -1 -2 0x42 0x0 0
You can define whether the callback is invoked when a DX button is pressed (0) or released (0x42). In addition you can chose if the callback is invoked with a key down, key up or the default semantic by setting the corresponding value at the third part of the code line. More details on this subject will be provide later on in this manual.specific example for Warthog
Technical manual p. 10-103

That’s what the Thrustmaster Warthog - Throttle “boat” switch does. It provides a continuous button output in the forward or aft positions. It’s perfect for the “you have to keep holding or it will fall out of DGFT or MO” config option.
You want to use the self-cancel configuration.

As it described you have let’s an 3 way switch that is ON(DX1)-Off-ON(DX2) with the middle postition not sending an DX command
So you could assing to your 2 DX switch states 3 callbacksCallbackA 1 -2 -2 0 0x0 0 (Send when the switch goes from the Off to DX1 On state)
CallbackB 1 -2 -2 0x42 0x0 (Send when the switch is put from DX1 back to off state)
CallbackB 2 -2 -2 0x42 0x0 (Send when the switch is put from DX2 back to off state)CallbackC 2 -2 -2 0 0x0 0 (Send when the switch goes from the Off to DX2 On state)
