Changing aircraft name, weight, etc

Its not a jump…i just ommited the data because its too large to be fited in there, after the 168 follows the 169,170….and 180 being the last
-
Wich theater do you use dude? Wich version of BMS?
I gave you an example in Korea 80’s . 4.34.U4 .
But it’s the same process no matter the version . Have you tried with the Mirage only as i asked you ? You still did’nt answer , and it can be important …
Its not a jump.
Ok , that’s what I wanted to know .
-
no havent tried the mirage…im been trying with the harrier…gona try the mirage 2000-5 now
-
step by step dude … gl
-

now i return the fnumber 181 in actype to 180 (default) and the editor runs up again but without showing the new mirage….dont know waht to do at this point…maybe its installation problem? windows 10 problem?
-
…
I can assume that you have already created the mirage2k5beer.fm and the mirage2k5beer_afm ?
-EDIT- I can’t see what you did wrong … i have just created a new M2k-5 beer in my Korea 80’s as a test .
It took me 2mn and all worked fine … no issue with FE

****….I forgot about that step…gonna have kim jong un aim at me with his artilery for this!!!
-
there´s no way that I made a mistake with this simple process
I can assume there’s always a way …gonna have kim jong un aim at me with his artilery for this!!!
FIRE !!!
Which step did you forgot ?
-
Dude can you please detail the step 1 that I just missed…I made the copy of the afm but notthing happens
-
the one on the first page.
-
It’s only copy the old M2k-5 fm and afm and rename them : M2k-5 beer + m2k-5 beer_afm . paste your 2 new files in the same folder , so you’ll end with 2 variants for the 2000-5 in Sim <acdata .<br=“”>that’s theorically what you already did (you told me Mirage 2000 CAC fm +afm)</acdata>
-
Once done ,in FE just point your ACD number on the new ACD number created ; Don’t forget also to write the new a/c name in Actype.dat (if not, you won’t be able to call and subsquently modify its number in FE); should be ok .
dindt understand how to point my ACD number on the new ACD number created, is this inside the afm or the other dat?
-
pls look the detailed description #12 , not my 1st answer . All is inside

But this is the first step right? Do I need also to change the title name inside the .dat and .afm folder?
-
1- It’s if you want . No matter the order . But all steps should be fulfilled . For myself , I found this order to be more logical/practical+ that’s the way my Master teach me to do it .
2- No . But you can when you are more used to the process , and write things in it to have a more detailed and straightforward description of what you did with the file .
-
im doing everything detailed in instructions but is not working…at least for now the editor opens and the game runs normally after “adding” this new variant of the harrier but the new av8b ++ doesnt apear in the Vehiles/aircraft list neither in the game…I must be mising some tiny detail
-
I must be mising some tiny detail
- maybe I did a little mistake when explaining : The av8b won’t appear at first . You have to declare it fully ; click on the AV8(the “old” one) in Vehicule , then process as described . Once all is done (new ACD defined , and your variant name appearing when scroll down the list etc …) , close FE . Re-open : now , the plane should be on the vehicules list .
And she would appear in game too .
-EDIT : NO ! I made a little mistake !
Just do as described ; The new variant won’t appear in the list . It’s not an issue , because since you did the maneuver , the old plane will boot with your new ACD number, so it will also boot your new fm/afm (consequently , it will load all the editing you made with your fm/afm . It’s an internal replacement). In game you’ll see a “normal” Harrier , but when selected you’ll see it’s your retrofitted version of the plane that is loaded .
Sorry .
