HARM new options mnemotechnic

Pretty sure SD is Self Destruct - although not explicitly stated in -34…… You’re not going mad.
No idea about NC…

Yep I inferred it from BMS training but… still no clue of the relation of Self-destruct with NO FLEX NO GILDE… kamikaze is a closer term for that xD

NC- Non-Cooperative
-
So, use SD when you want to kill a single target and nothing else.
NC if you want the highest chance of hitting anything, the missile will flex (change target) and glide (EOM-glide)
TI when you don’t want the missile change target, but allow it to glide in case the target has become silent (LOT-glide).
Is my understanding more or less correct?

Is my understanding more or less correct?
In a simple way of put things, yes. On top of that you have to play with GS to give the missile more area to search, or a more restricted area to find what you’re looking for.
Cheers, and happy hunting -
I used on a Test Flight the POS Mode from the Harm on a Pre-Briefed Target with PB Mode.
The Target was a Spoon Rest from a SA-2 Bat., and I set a Precision Steerpoint on the Target.
In flight …Hand Off the Harm on the Target with “S” and the Prec.Steerpoint too.
I used SD ( No Flex ,No Glide) .
The Harm destroyed the Radar Vehicle, without emiting, like a JDAM on a Prec.Steerpoint…
It´s not a Self-Destruction, but in this Mode you need a Precision Steerpoint for hit a Target.
…or the Target emits.
Greetings -
SD stands for Shut Down

GreetingsI’ve been considering it to mean “Straight Down”. I don’t know if that’s what it actually means, but it’s been helping me remember what the setting does.

As stated just before, it means Shut Down.

Can a HARM in SD accurately hit a target with known position (i.e. spotted via TGP)?
-
Yes it can!
I Test it too… First Harm same Procedure on Pre-Planned Steer to the Spoon Rest. (Ps. I removed before the Fang Song Radar for the Tests)
Second Harm, set a Mark Point with the TGP to a densely packed Group of Launchers and Trucks. (Prec. of a Launcher).
HandOff the Harm on this Mark Point 26 pseudo from the Table with an “S” for Spoon Rest…the same Configuration PB and SD.
Heading towards the Steer and Fire the Harm.
Result : One destroyed Sa-2 Launcher and one Truck… One Sa-2 Launcher and two Trucks where damaged, and before the destroyed Spoon Rest! Thanks for the Question,
and a Happy New Year for all of you!!! -
Finally nobody knows what is NC?
Would be nice to have it in the next review of the official docs
