One LOD only? Lod1 lod2 etc?

One MODEL at an LOD definition of L0 in Falcon……you could go even lower if you can afford the Tri’s in your TOO…this is what I did for the quarry, sewer treatment plant and landfill as you see them. Where as the rest of the Landmass “Might” be only singular Tri’s…chuckles…those areas have been Tesselated to greater Tri’s to afford the detail\elevation…“Get it ???”
Again demer has made a compromise with Falcon…the only way to get along with the b’tch…LOL!!!

@ Arty……the flashing lights at the end of the runway are REAL…LOL!!! (REIL Runway End Identifier Lights)…better have wheels off the ground B4 you get there…
@Nikos…the ILS that you see is the Thales DILS (Deployable Instrument Landing System that we are testing)…Rota Intl has no ILS\CT or MLSR…hell in RL you have to key the mic 3x at the right freg just to get the lights to turn on after 7PM…LOL!!! Recorded Message “Sorry we are Closed for the night, Check back @ 0600 and we might allow you to Land”
Speaking of lights MERLE…Rota now has MIRL’s (Medium Intensity Runway Lights)…as in…DRUM ROLL…RL!!!
So you may have to Q AWAC’s to get bearing on the “Where in the Hell is the F***ng Rnwy”…Chuckles…;)
You may also notice a MOTS (Mobile Air Traffic Control Systems) I am working on that to get it evolved into the ATC in 4.34 as Rota Intl has NO tower in RL…stuck at the moment with it…sigh. BUT we will figure it out!Enjoy the Vid and as we progress I will post more test vids.
Also remember this is my “Sandbox” so any release going forward will be Dev copys…OK…demer
Edit: The Fault @ 3:00 in the vid was unexpected…took me a sec to recover, hell I’ve flown in the dark for years though…LOL,but that’s OK just add’s to the immersion IMHO… another fine job BMS team!

What the hell is this all about demer???..LOL…I have stated B4 that ONE, of many, goals in GUAM was to reduce the draw calls on the little Btch. As well as reducing Non-Combatant features on the Terrain. i.e. HOW MANY TOWNS AS FEATURES DO WE REALLY NEED!!!..lol…hey maybe a hundred might draw her to her knees FPS wise
So here we draw ONE time and I’m guessing you could extrude as many structures (Non Combatant) as you’d like.
FPS wise 4.34 didn’t even flinch…so unless I encounter a problem with WD’s HUGE 100k poly Aircraft carriers I’m not worried as much anymore. BUT I will stick to One draw call if we can achieve it for the static model’s. (Includes the HUD there gents…ahem)
And NO this is not done with ESRI (though I had Hope) ESRI produce’s WAY to many Tri’s to be efficient in Falcon. I “Get” Procedural building in a API\GPU, have for years, but not applicable here.Enjoy the possibility,
