Hello there, dear mate.
Would you mind if I asked you: have you read the posts here?
With best regards.

Don’t worry, mate.
My apologies in case I seemed too harsh with you, but I assumed that you were looking for something in particular.
So, please let me summarize for you the contents here: all is in the project state.

Thanks for posting that video link, Toro!
That’s one of the best “Vipers on the ground” videos I’ve seen. It helped me forget my troubles for a little while, seeing those beautiful jets.
I think I need to fire up BMS and ramp-start the jet now

Just guess you’re right doing so, Mylonite… my warm wishes about all the rest, it will pass soon.
And let’s keep on awaiting more news about this awesome theater.
We miss it, we need it!With best regards.

IIRC there was one guy offering naip payware tiles… I think there was a post but can’t find it anymore.
does anyone know anything?Hi Arty,
That sounds a little bit like a post I made, about using NAIP (National Aerial Imagery Program) images for R-2508 in California and the NTTR in Nevada. It’s the post where I found there’s a big hole in the imagery over the NTTR.
But there might have been other posts, by other people, about NAIP or APFO (Aerial Photography Field Office), too.
The imagery in the post I’ve linked above came for free, through an APFO server that I linked to from ArcMap.
I did once post an aerial photograph from another place in R-2508. I bought the data that image came from, but only because I didn’t have time to figure out how to get the digital orthophoto quarter quads for free. I think if I’d had the time and the determination, I’d have been able to download it for free.
…and now I can’t find that post. Shucks. Gotta think some more, to figure out the correct search terms…

Thanks Mylonite470.
I’m not sure that was the post but thanks anyway… -

Im also working in a conversion of 433 to 4.35 of nevada i may uploaded in a few days
-
Oh, really?
And all alone, let me ask?
It would be almost a miracle, then - just from a sudden, like they are.
Well, good luck with that, mate. Let us know more further. Please.

-
She is coming out soon…
-
how is this theater installed?
-
Ok, our secret is out. Nevada for 4.35 is in final beta testing. Six working, winnable campaigns are included. Ripper’s video is of our Release Candidate.

I enjoyed seeing Ripper’s video, it’s great to see that people have been working on a Nevada theater.
My favorite part was seeing the terrain of my beloved southwestern USA in the 2D mission planning screen. Seeing that elevation-shaded DEM that stretched from California to the Rocky Mts was great
I can understand why the actual theater doesn’t cover that whole area, though. It makes sense to just cover an area centered on north-central Nevada.
I know that the limitations of terrain in BMS make it impossible (at present) to model the Nevada mountain ranges in a very realistic way. That’s just how it is at the present time, and that’s fine. In the from-the-cockpit portion of Ripper’s video, what I could see of the landscape looked like a fairly flat desert. Are the mountain ranges modeled to some extent, the way the terrain in KTO is modeled, or is it mostly flat?
Either way, I’m grateful to everyone for working on this. Love seeing the SW USA in BMS
And the map showed an airstrip at Stovepipe Wells! DV FTW
