So how are the Type 52D modelled for SAMS? they appear to be some hybrid of SA-10 radar + SM2ER missile?? Just trying to get an idea of their range, and they appear to emit nothing when fired at you.
-
Sorry, mate.
Nothing out there more than what’s currently on Wikipedia… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_052D_destroyer#Armament
And PRC can maintain well their secrets, as we learned. But you already knew all these, I guess.
With best regards.

Thanks to all!
I did enjoy flying this TH with Stef when he did this, so really pleased to see someone has taken it on, many thanks.

What i’m asking is how were these ships modelled in the theater, not IRL. Are they just re-skinned Ticos or Arleigh Burkes with some tweaks? When i’m planning say a TASMO against them, what threat radius should I considering?
-
Using F4x weather mapper custom settings. What are the min latitude and max latitude left longitude and right longitude for this theatre? Thanks and apologies if missing obvious.

I got these numbers from edge of map…
I don’t think this is right though. Gonna pm Ahmed. -

It’s ROC(Republic of China) and PRC(People’s republic of China), Not China and Taiwan

Nice that, dear Joker.
But on my little own, I would be cautious about calling that names, only due to that well known never-ending diplomatic dispute on it. And it’s not the case, I guess, to import it here now, we are here just for having fun and for our pleasure, after all.
For this reason only, I would choose to keep those two Countries’ geographical definition in this while. But I am not the theater’s dev., this is my little cent only and I’m leaving to him all the consequent decisions anyway.
With best regards.

We don’t care for political.
ROC is called ROC
PRC is called PRC.It’s simple fact.

Fair that is still this way, dear Ed… but we have to admit, at the same time, that it’s just the “ROC” definition’s use at the base of the dispute.
And this is a fact as well.
Whatever, as you all may like it.
Have a nice day and stay always safe.
With best regards.

Thanks i think this is fine! I am just fear if the map in the theater only shows names Taiwan and China,it will lead to misunderstanding. And we may be in trouble.
Calling ROC and PRC is fair enough. it’s a an neutral description.
Thanks dev team for your hard working !

By the way, Any policy regarding campaigns?
if i can get your permission, i want to make a campaign for the TVT purpose after my EMF 1980s work. .
Red has F-16 aggressor. I think it would be fun, especially for us live in this theater:eek:
-
We have at least three empty slots to fill.
Send us campaigns and we test them, and put them in! -

Wait, what? There’s going to be a Taiwan theater? Did I hear that right? If so:
Kudos to you guys for not being too afraid to offend today’s whacked version of sensibilities and make a theater where the ROC are the blue icons and the ChiComs are the red icons.
Bravo.
Brave.
Takes extreme courage in today’s woke-ness to put something out there that ChiCom-lovers (or, if not ‘lovers’ they all are at least worried about offending the giant money PRC) are just gonna want to bash you about.
The NBA sold out to ChiCom, even the Top Gun sequel removed the ROC patch from Maverick’s original jacket for something less offending to ChiCom censors. Everything from Transformers to Kong vs Godzilla has to have a ChiCom setting nowadays - the kowtow to ChiComs never ceases in our society today.I just want to applaud you for remembering the right vs wrong in the Taiwan situation. It’s too easy to muddy them waters nowadays.
Three cheers to you.
Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! -

Word.
I would go one further:
ROC and The ChiComs. -

Don’t be afraid that some of our own people are too yellow-bellied nowadays, or just plain forgot, that ROC are the good guys and PRC are the bad guys. Any ‘diplomatic disputes’ are outside of this game. this is a game. And we (mostly) are westerners and/or free peoples of the world. Design it for your constituents, not the occasional faux-aggrieved communist who might take umbrage.
“…I would be cautious about calling that names, only due to that well known never-ending diplomatic dispute on it…”
Funny, how caution is exercised every freaking darn time anything even vaguely touches on anything that might be untoward to those positions that I will delicately describe as being on the side of evil, left, unconventional, or aggrieved in any way, either real or imagined. Funny how there is never ever any kind of self-policing restraint of free thought and expression when it champions the odd, and upsets the established norms.
For once I would love to see these faux-woke awareness’s left out of non-political, cultural arenas. I.e. this game. It’s a game. Red China bad. Taiwan good.
Wanna debate? Need proof? Go take a peek inside the black binders waiting on the shelves of the G3/5/7 PLEX shop in the PLA and the ROC Army. I’ll bet you one PLEX shop has a series of binders showing alternate plans for invading an island, and the other has a single binder that does NOT describe how to invade a continent. Are we to the point where we all have to pretend to the level of no longer colloquially referring to them as the bad guys and us as the good guys?
If anyone is truly honestly concerned about how they might perceive this, then for goodness sakes don’t even use red and blue icons!
Use green for ChiComs (green is Neutral, and a Neutral colour is very low-offensive to our dear warm hearted jovial compatriots of the workers’ paradise) and use yellow for our side (Yellow is Unknown, and if we can’t even figure out who is good and who is bad, then our side deserves to be the Unknown colour standard)Take a stand, man.
Margaret Thatcher said people who stand in the middle of the road risk getting hit by cars from both directions.
