Newest video for y’all.

A little tutorial video I put together last night. I understand that I turned the avionics on prior to receiving bleed air through the ECS, but this game I have found that it doesn’t make a difference. This video was meant to familiarize all of the F-16 cockpit switches to and to show someone where everything is.
The next 2-3 video’s I’ll be making are of Air to Air tanking tutorials, brevity and proper F-16 starting procedures.
Please leave feedback or comments if you have any.

You should not set all your systems to ON before starting engine. It is not the right procedure, and can cause (not implemented yet) generator overload (when it comes online).
For good (right) procedures, follow strictly Red Dog’s checklists.

Oh, trust me man I am WELL aware of overloading both generators attached to the CSGB. Like I said, this was a video showing what switches would be required to get the aircraft in the air. I used to be a crew chief on F-16’s and I am extremely familiar with launch procedures. In fact, I used to do alert on my home base when we still had F-16’s and have launched an airplane in under 3 minutes. And just for clarification for everyone, you can have pre-set switches on the actual plane, as long as they do not require ECS support I.E. HUD,MFD,INS,GPS and so on.
But if most were curious, the real world(at least USAF) SOP for F-16 launches is:
Main batt on, JFS 2 (real world airplanes have the master fuel switch safety wire), after 1 minute and 20-25% rpm showing go idle over and wait for the JFS to shut off around 50% and the engine taking over the electrical load, next is a slight run up to increase FTIT and apply power to all avionics/RWR/CMDS/INS align/DTE load, then checking SEC and doing another run up, back to idle, and initiating FLCS bit. When FLCS bit is complete confirm controls clear and do visual flight control check with the crew chief, usually around this time all avionics should be awake and ready, next the crew chief will unpin the EPU and a bleed air EPU check is initiated, after all of this is accomplished the crew chief will check both main wheel brakes as the pilot cycles through the peddles to make sure they are functioning, following this all pins should be removed and ready to taxi.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the videos I put up, if there are any requests I am always willing to take on a new project.

Sorry I haven’t been able to upload some videos lately, I’ve been really tied up with work lately and haven’t been flying much. That will change soon for sure. Many thanks to all the PM’s and Emails I get.

Yes, I know it’s not BMS but this is what I have been up to the last couple of weeks. Anyways, here is my debut for voice acting on a “meeshun” that was made by a squadronmate. Enjoy!

Offset is useful to gain visual during the climb and to be less predictive.

It was a TE I built, I’ve flown that mission about 10 times over testing it out and seeing where the engagement points were for the SA-3/SA-6.

Great job there… It’s such an awesome feeling to make hard turns while flying low-level, then popping-up to nail the target.
